The sheet of paper said Okatee Episcopal Mission Cemetery and listed 18 names. It was done on a mid-century typewriter. All the names you listed were on the list except Charles Benjamin Fripp 1870-1960. Since the typewriter was mid-century I am assuming paper was typed before Charles died. At end of list it said: spelling on the stones in some cases differs from that in 1850 census and from the spelling in the Church of the Cross Parish Register for the Okatee Chapel. I checked with Church of the Cross and their historian. She knew there were mission churches but did not know that name She did think it was in the area it is in. I went on Ancestry and checked several Fripp families. One had a person buried at Okatee Cemetery in Beaufort County; another at Grace Episcopal in Jasper County. The lady from UDC posted Andrew G. Hasell's name as he was a Civil War Vet. I took a chance and posted two of the names hoping someone would take notice. You did, and I thank you so much. I am the Chair of the Geneology Records Committee for my DAR chapter and our project is to inventory cemeteries in the GReater Bluffton area. I so wanted to include this list. I found a few others in the Historical Society records if you would be interested in seeing them. My home email is firstname.lastname@example.org Dorothy

Dear Jerseygirl, thank you so much for adding the bio and photos from the gravesite. While doing research at the Bluffton Historical Society I found a single sheet of paper entitled Okatee Episcopal Mission Cemetery. It was undated. There were 18 names listed of the Ellis and Fripp family. I spent a week asking locally if anyone knew of the cemetary. thank you for much for providing this information. You also explained how to find the grave sites. If there any indication of a church having been there?

Yes, I know she is buried in PFC, not PCFC. It can be confusing if you don't know there are two Pinckney Family Cemeteries, albeit with slightly different names.
Thanks for all the pictures you have taken and entered on findagrave!
