You're welcome Pauline. Wish the names and dates had been easier to read.

Thank you for the photo of George P Wilson grave. Did you notice any Civil War flag holder near the grave?

RE: Irene Moon
Pauline: There is no stone for Irene Moon. She is buried on the lot with her parents in an unmarked grave. That is the reason I photographed the entire lot from two different angles. Burial records for Clinton Co. list her as Irene Moon: B, 12-6-1872; D, 9-8-1876, Bur. Sec.2 Lot 71, daughter of Wyatt C. & Jennie Moon. I have field checked this lot twice at the cemetery with a complete search of all the adjacent lots. The grave either was never marked, or the stone has disappeared, but there is no stone present to photograph. I have stated this in the captions below the photos I took of lot 71 of section 2. Sorry I am not able to do better for you, but it is not unusual for the graves of infants & small children to be unmarked

RE: Amos Moon
Suggest you contact the Redwood County Historical Society. I believe they have dates, names for all burials from this approximate time.

RE: Amos Moon
Sorry, but the Moon's weren't very cooperative in giving up dates! Rachel's seems to be May, 1916 or May, 1915. The words are almost unreadable.

Amos Moon's grave marker shares no dates.

Could send you the original photos via e-mail if you would like.

Thank you for all the work your doing at the cemetery. I'm working on the Baker family and am hoping that you'll allow me to use a copy of the picture you took of his grave stone for his page at Ancestry.com I'm not closely related, helping someone who is. Thank you. Carole

Looks like I need to check my spelling before sending these messgages. I have bandaids on two of my fingers, wich makes me hit the wrong keys at time. Sorry.

Naomi Westfall
Hello Pauline

I have claimed your requests for Naomi Westfall and Clyde Snodgrass. While checking thier memorials and cross checking with Ivy Lawn memorial park, I noticed that two other family connections are also at Ivy Lawn. They are Wilford V. Westfall(buried with and shares a stone with Naomi), and Hazel Snodgrass. I will be taking the photos on Tuesday or Wednesday
next week. If you would like, I would be happy to take these two other photos and attach them to their sites as well.

No need to requst them,. I just do it on your response to this messgae.

Also took a photo of headstone for Rachel Moon. Believe they are related as her stone was near that of Amos. It was almost impossible to read the script on Rachel's headstone.

Oak Creek Cemetery
Pauline,
I got back to Oak Creek Cemetery. I found the two McMillans you requested and several others. I also noticed a difference in the spelling McMillan and McMillian.
On the same stones, Ernest (1873-1960) and Edward (1884-1957) and on another stone, Russell (1886-1952) and another huge stone with Anna (1847-1910) and Enoch (1884-1912).

Hello,

The Data you have sent should be in the BIO section and not listed in the PLOT or SECT, Even though the Plot and SEC is included in this Email that was sent by jane to you.

I think if you send this again to be put in the Bio Section I will do this, and you can get the SEC and PLOT # and send this in this Section only, and not a whole Email.

Thanks Dave

Jane
William and Martha Moon-Beech Grove Cemetery, Delaware Co., IN
Hi,
I located the sites for William and Martha Moon in the cemetery, but there are no headstones for them. They are listed in Cemetery records as being buried in Section J, Lots 590 (Martha) and 591 (William). Martha is buried beside (to the left) of Earl Moon (Lot 589), who may be a son and died in 1920, and William is buried to the left of Martha in lot 591.
I hope this helps. I did post sites of the areas on the memorials.
Take care,
Jane
