RE: Spencer
I don't think there is anyone whom you need to edit. I'm sure I must have met some of my Grandfather Aaron P.Spencer's siblings but the only one I remember is Clara Janet whom my brother Phil and I called Aunt Nettie.
I'm glad to see that my parents information and the picture of their headstone was added by a family member and not just some stranger which was my concern.

RE: Hello
Our family lost touch with a lot of my dad's relatives after my grandparents died so I'm not sure who those people are. Would you mind telling me who June's parents are?

RE: Wiseman & Diffendaffer
You're welcome! I am glad that I can continue to help you out! I had come across Georgie M. Wiseman #115948536, as I was looking around, not sure if it is the daugter of Wisemans you may know of, but I just thought I would see!

RE: Thomas Hunt
The book says Westernlore Press...2008...Ticson, Arizona
The complete title is the Mines, Camps, Ranches, and Characters of The Dragoon Mountains by Lynne R Bailey, but I have been unsuccessful finding it unless I search just The Dragoon Mountains. I picked mine up at the Chiricahua NM gift shop but Amazon carries it too. I loved the book, it is fully documented, but written in a reader friendly way vs just bullet points. It covers the history if Cochise first, then starts at one end of the mountains and works her way through covering the people that cut out a living either ranching or mining the area.

Levi Marshall Hunt 16533129
Hi, I found some information on Levi Marsshalls Parents Father Find A Grave 19448117
Mother Find A Grave 107933067
I also found the following in Source: Conquerors of the West Stalwart Mormon Pioneers - pg 1189 1190

Marshall Hunt
Born: 12 Apr 1829, near Albion, Edwards, Illinois
Parents: Jefferson and Celia Mounts Hunt
Died: 25 Jan 1915, Taylor, Navajo, Arizona
Arrived in Valley: 3 Oct 1847 with Mormon Battalion

Married: Sarah Ann Runyon
Date: 15 Mar 1851, Big Cottonwood, Salt Lake, Utah
Born: 6 May 1834, Harmony, Warren, New Jersey
Died: 25 Jan 1919, Kirtland, San Juan, New Mexico
Marshall's parents, and those in their family who were old enough, were baptized in 1835, and Marshall was baptized in 1837.
They started west in 1846 and, when the call came for men to join the Mormon Battalion, Marshall joined along with other members of his family, including his father. He and his father continued the march west while the rest of the family was sent back to Pueblo with the sick detachment, and eventually on to Salt Lake City. Marshall and his father were discharged in California and returned to Salt Lake on 3 October 1847. They remained a short time in Salt Lake City and then returned to San Bernardino at the request of President Young, to settle that area.
He was small in stature, being only five feet three inches tall, of medium build with dark hair and hazel eyes. He was active in the church and in all community activities.
After his retirement from the Battalion, he married and they moved to San Bernardino. He was crippled, having lost a leg in a threshing machine. He carved a leg and wore it the rest of his life.
In 1858, he moved his family back to Utah and they eventually made their home in Huntsville, (named after his father). For a time they lived in Oneida County, Idaho, and then moved to Ogden. They moved frequently, finally living in Arizona where he died.

Richard Richins

I saw your memorial for Richard Richins (1848) and was wondering if there is an online index for this cemetery, or how you came across this information?

Thank you.

MacDuff ~ Butler Family
Thank you for the additional information on the MacDuff Family. I will add your notes to my file! I've also made the correction on Jane's memorial. Thank you!

My connection is through Jane's daughter-in-law Sophia Fredrica Christensen Sorensen. Better known as Via. She married William Bridges Butler. 'Via' is the sister to my Great Grandmother. My research for Via led me to the Butler/MacDuff family, which intrigued me, and I wanted to share what I found.

Hope my research has helped further your's.

With Appreciation, Susan

Butler, Jane Rowan MacDuff
Thank you contacting me. Before I link Jane to her parents please tell me why I have her mother listed as Ellen Robinson? It should be Ellen HANCOCK (maiden name), correct? With your reply I will make the correction.

From Memorial:
"Jane was nine when she immigrated to the United States with her parents John R. MacDuff, Ellen Robinson, MacDuff and sister, Jane."

Thank you, Susan

Me again!

I forgot to mention that these 2 people are there as well and may be related. They are also in the Garden of Prayer Section.

EGAN Vivian W. Egan, 1915 - 1989, Together Forever" "Married 4-30-31" (s/s William W. Egan)

EGAN William A. Egan, 1906 - ___, "Together Forever" "Married 4-30-31"
(s/s Vivian W. Egan)

This information was gathered around 1990 so William's death was not a matter of record.

Best wishes on your genealogy research.

Davidsons of Ravenna
Hi, Dan. I'm glad to help. Don't ever say "just an amateur historian." I think some of the most important work has been done by people with a love of history but not necessarily the degree. I see you have another Davidson you are looking for; I'll try to get back to Ravenna (my hometown by the way) next week and take another photo for you.
