Yes, I didn't mean to change the US spelling. When I reread my message late last night I was going to send you another email to clarify. Info came from ship passenger record & (mangled) on his WW2 draft card. I can send you more info. If you hit the edit tab on any one of the memorials I've done, you can, I think, send me your email privately & I'll pass on what I know. I saw that Joe died and send you my condolences.

Helen Jackson
I'm not sure if you remember, but I've been trying to locate Helen and Frederick Jackson in Rohoboth Cemetery in Beaver County. I was there again today and still could not find them; however, there is a Helen Jackson in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aliquippa, PA. Could this be the relative you are looking for? I don't think there is a photo of her stone, though. Unfortunately, I am not near that cemetery, or I would gladly take that picture for you. I don't think Frederick Jackson was listed, but I could be wrong. I hope this helps you!

update to Yerskey
Lewis A. Yerskey is not my memorial. You will have to contact the contributor Dottie Kunselman (#47205661)
for the link. Parents cannot be linked to children on their memorial. I did add him on the Yerskey bio. Andrea

St. Rose in Hermitage
I would be happy to add their memorials for you but getting a photo in the Mausoleum is difficult since it is always locked. I tried to go there once to get a photo of my husband's cousin and found it locked. Andrea

Could you send me your email directly since I've misplaced it. I have one or two things to send you on Joe & Stella, etc.

RE: Sheleheda
I went to Rehoboth Cemetery today. Unfortunately I could not find Helen and Fredrick Jackson. There is open space in this cemetery where stones might have been, or none erected yet, so I will keep looking for them. However, I did find a few things of interest for you. I added photos for William and Alice Sheib. Also, in looking for those stones, I found the following: Alvin C. Scheib and Charles and Ruth E. Feduska. I added these last three names and photos into Find A Grave. Hopefully you will find that information useful...

RE: Sheleheda
I'd be happy too. I'm not sure exactly when I'll get there, but I'll let you know so you can get your information complete.

RE: Feduska / Sheleheda
I know what you mean. Genealogy is not a five minute project. Everything you uncover has a ripple effect that leads to an even bigger river. For example, on Find A Grave I may have found someone else for you in Rehoboth Cemetery. Are the names Alice Sheleheda Scheib and her husband Walter Scheib familar to you? Alice was born in 1920 and Walter was born in 1908. Alice was the daughter of Wasyl and Leona Sheleheda. Do you have/want photos of their headstones? Maybe you already have this information.

I'm glad they have been found. If there are any others in the area you need help with don't hesitate to let me know. There is also a smaller cemetery approximately 4-5 miles from SS Peter and Paul called Rehoboth Cemetery. All three cemeteries can easily be checked the same day.

Joe Sheleheda
I would be glad to link Joseph Sheleheda to Wasyl & Leona Sheleheda, but Find A Grave only allows links the other way, from children to parents. You can link to them directly from Joseph's memorial by copying Wasyl's & Leona's individual codes (found at the bottom of the memorial page)in the links box for mother & father. That should do it. Let me know if you have any problems.

RE: Feduska
I've made a note of everybodys name (I figure the more I have to start with, the better chance of finding them. Also, hopefully, if I can find one, I can find them all.) Another possibility is there is another cemetery directly across the road from this one. It is Economy Cemetery. Could any of your relatives be there??? When I'm in that area I like to visit both cemeteries since they're so close.

RE: Feduska
I received your message. I had noticed a request for Stella and looked for her marker the last time I visited that cemetery. I did not see her stone, but will be happy to look again for you the next time I'm there. If I remember correctly, there was a Feduska marker there, but it was not for Stella or Nicholas. Could there be more family members buried there?

Pete Yonchak
I created a memorial for Pete Yonchak and used the same photo that I took for his wife. Mr. Yonchak died in 2008 according to the obituary. I took this photo in 2010. Two years after his death and the headstone had never been updated. I will check again the next time I am in the cemetery, but I doubt that the family has had the stone updated 4 years later. So sad. Andrea

Michael Francis Medvec
the only information I have on him right now is

he died June 1983, Connellsville, Frayette, Pennsylvania, his wife died 1969.

Angry Women Defy Police.

Mrs. Medvec barred the door to her home and defied the police lieutenant to open it. The two men tried to force their way in, and an angry group of women gathered to give aid to Mrs. Medvec. Finally the door was opened and workmen began to pile the furniture into the van. Before they had completed their task David Lundeen, attorney representing the flat dwellers, appeared and served the second order. The furniture went back into the house.

Spokesmen for the flat dwellers announced that, whether or not they are defeated in court, they will refuse to pay the rent. Rather than this, they announced, the colonists will tear down their shacks and move away.

Donald Roger Sharpe was my first cousin 1x removed. He married Marie Antionette Medvec on 12 Feb 1949. They had 4 children, all living.

Marie Antionette Medvec was the daughter of Michael Francis Medvec 22 Sept 1895-July 1983 and Emma C Znacko 11 March 1892-16 Oct 1969. They had John Medvec, Marie Antionette, Robert Gregory Medvec 12 March 1932-6 July 1990 (all Minnesota) he married Mary McNeely 23 Sept 1978, Hennepin, Minnesota.

I see you have a comment on my tree (ancestry) for John.

I will make a note and if I find anything I will let you know. Right now, I am working on my father in law. He passed away in August and We cleaned out the house and I found a gold mine of land deeds, wills, marriage lic, death certif. So I be back on line in Oct.
