You're welcome! I added a memorial for their daughter, Elizabeth Laird, whose stone is beside theirs. If you'd like me to transfer her memorial to you, just let me know.

Frederick Williams
I see your photo request for my 4x great-grandfather Frederick Williams (through David and Sabra). I plan on making the trip to his resting place this spring sometime. Do you know if his grave has a marker or what names may be close?

No Prob! I solved my problem of a 24/7 retired husband and no alone time by doing Find a Grave! I love the cemeteries! we have some really beautifully carved stones in the Limestone Belt! all the ancestors let me do all the talking, they stand still for photos, lots of diddly squats to stay in shape...I could go on and on...but I just love genealogy too...history...being outdoors!

Ida Spencer
I posted a closeup of Ida's grave and another view of her gravesite in the foreground and looking toward the fence you can see the raised gravesite of her mother Marry Etta Shaw Whittle in the background. Mary Etta was the sister of my husband's great-grandfather, Thomas Franklin Shaw. Mary Etta's husband does not appear to be buried in the Hopewell Cemetery. Other Whittles buried there are Emma Whittle Qualls and her husband Frank Qualls. She was a sister to Ida. And M. Dosha Johnson Whittle, first wife of Eugene Perry Whittle, bro of Ida. Dosha's triplets are buried there as well. Enjoy!

RE: thanks

You are welcome and thank you for your response. This was not a random act. I fulfill as many requests as time and weather permit. Many resources and emotions are spent on this hobby. It can be rewarding in many ways, unfortunately not financially.--Mr. Storres

RE: thanks
You are quite welcome for the photos. I benefited from someone taking a photo for me that I could never have done myself, so I feel I am sort of paying him back when I take photos for others. It is my pleasure.

Feel free to use the photos in any way you wish and good luck with the book. :)

Nothing will be said to the family, rest assured. David said he often wondered what became of you and your Mother. Sorry to hear of your loss. David wants to tell his sister what happened but will be careful not to say too much! If David can see Bob alone, he will definitely give him your message. I'm including our email address so you can contact me and I'll send you our phone number.
A friend, Irma

Small world, David, my husband, remembers you and your mother(Pat?) staying with your great grandmother (Mrs. Betty) when your dad was away in the service. He lived near them. He said that he doesn't know where Mr. Morris is buried, but he thought he remembered that he was from Dothan, Al. He grew up with your Dad, Aunt Betty, and Uncle Joe. I know your Uncle Joe's wife. She works at Wal-Mart. I met your grandmother, Mrs. Mary when she ran Ray Brothers' store there near Travis Bridge. I never met Miss Ollie and Miss Mollie, but I've heard David speak lovingly of them. Is your Mother still living? She and David's sister Wanda were best friends when they lived next to each other. Your most welcome. Trying to pay it forward as someone posted a picture of my husband's grandfather's headstone in Indiana, a state I may never get to. Good luck in your research.
