|Thomas F. Scully||François Biville dit Le Picard|
I sent a request to add his birth place. This guys sometimes takes months to respond. I live in US also, so I don't know if there is a stone.

Please provide your reference for his death record information, ie Drouin, Tanguay, PRDH, etc.

|IZ||Charlotte Rice at Mt. Neboh|
As much as i would like to fulfill your request for Charlotte's grave, it might be very difficult, if not impossible, without more info. Mt. Neboh is, for all intents and purposes, abandoned. While Mt. Carmel oversees Mt. Neboh for general upkeep, the office doe snot have any burial records (the Mt. Neboh office is shuttered and I haven't found anyone with the records).
You have provided some burial information; however, there are over 12 separate Public Grounds in Mt. Neboh and without a plot number it will be difficult to locate the grave. Do you have a plot number?

|Janice (Stafford) Laliberte||Philo V. Cady's dates|
Hi Barbie. I have a Charles Dickens Birthday Book here, which belonged to Mary E. (Cady) Stafford, who was my father's grandmother. She was also the sister of Philo.
In this birthday book, she marked down important family dates and other notations.
Under the calendar page for May 23, she wrote Philo V. Cady 1856 and under that she put "Philo went to sleep Sept. 5 1933.
When I went to the September 5 page, she penned in "Philo V. Cady died Sept 5, 1933 77 yrs. old
This differs slightly from the memorial, but I think this must be correct, as she was his sister.
Mary E. (Cady) married Judson Harvey Stafford, a jeweler from NY. Their son was Judson Harvey Stafford, an evangelist. His son was James Jerome Stafford, my father. I am Janice (Stafford) Laliberte.

Can you send the memorial number? I have a lot of John Rice's and want to get the correct one to you.

|D Hills||Absalom Grove - Cypress Hills|
I added photos of Absalom Grove under Find A Grave Memorial# 118050644 & 80324311. Given Cypress Hills is actually two cemeteries I added the new listing under the private Cypress Hills versus the National cemetery. He is buried in the middle of the private cemetery in a section set aside for Civil War soldiers. It may be technically part of the national cemetery however you will not find him in the main National Cemetery - I spent over an hour looking for him in the Main part of the National Cemetery only to finally get assistance from a grounds keeper that escorted us over to the private cemetery next door. If you have photos of Absalom let me know. He is my 3rd Great Grandfather.
You can contact me in Find A Grave under D Hills (#48183858) or by clicking on my link below each picture of Absalom.

So, any photos of Starrs you might have that you were unable to upload would be fantastic! I see that I am one of many, many grandchildren of these folks!

Hello Barbie -
I see that you posted problems on some of the Starr grave - with particularly large files, but offered to send along. Has it been too many years to ask for those files for myself?
Through my mother's family, I am a Starr. She has returned to her maiden name, though I am a Lee.
Thank you for your consideration of the matter,

Thank you for the message. Since you already spoke to the office staff than I am certain you have the exact location Plot 141 in Section D. Than I did find it. Sorry I was not clear enough, the grave is there but there are no headstones. Sorry but Louise is buried in an unmarked grave. I did find the plate number for Plot 141, so I am sure I was in the right location, Section D. If members of the family would like to have a marker placed than you should call the office and see what can be done.
Thank you for the background information. We are certainly very interested in the stories of the people cared for here at Maple Grove.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

I went to Section D Plot #141 and did not find a marker for Louise Russell. I did not have the time to go into the office to confirm and wanted to ask if you received this information from the office.
I did find the 141 plot marker and there seems to be no markers for anyone buried in that unit.If this is something you would like to discuss with at the office you can give them a call as they are very nice and helpful.
The story you have of Louise Russell is quite fascinating and we would love to add it to our family archives. You can check online and see the work that we do.

This was still "open" in the picture request listing. I didn't realize there had already been a picture added.

|NoreenP||RE: THANK YOU|
you're welcome I completely understand. I hate driving on the cross island, but you don't need to take the LIE you can take the southern state, its so much easier then the LIE. The LIE is more of a pain when you are in Queens and part of nassau. But anyway its honestly not a big deal about going to the cemetery its like 5 minutes from my house. I did want to let you know that you gave me the wrong plot number, that way you can change it, its actually 15-JJ-60. You had given me 15-J-60 (which is at the other end of section 15). I just took a chance that you had left out the extra J. I posted pics for andrew, margaret and lillian.
