When I make photos in Forrest Cemetery and do a bit of research - I'm always glad to find where you have a memorial and all I do is add the photo and pass on the links to you. Not too many volunteers make photos at Forrest and I absolutely love that beautiful place!!! I go so often, the workers know I'm just roaming around with camera in hand. ~smile~

Thanks so much for the reply and yes I tried that but it wasn't working. I am the granddaughter of Charley Head, Grady was my father. I got into all this because I wanted to know my ancestors. My mother's side was really easy because of the historical societies she was a member of. Just as a happenstance I ran into my second cousin in Tennessee when I was on Ancestory.com. I also wanted this for our children. If you do run across the info would appreciate hearing. You did a wonderful and informative piece on Cynthia Cook. Nice to meet you. Virginia

Ok..you don't know me. I have been making my family tree on Ancestory.com and have hit a brick wall on my Dads side. I only have sketchy notes and have come across the name Cynthia Gazaway Cook on which your name appears. I am curious about the second spouse of Amelia Emerline Cook. He is referred to as only Mr. Head. I believe he is the link and would appreciate it if I could get his first name. The rest of your facts match these notes. The names
Of Bradley, Gazaway and Head are in my notes. I would appreciate a reply and have a good day. Thanks. Virginia Head Pennington

Mark is looking for this lady in the Johnson / Eason cemetery in Marshall Co. I do not find a stone with her name. There is a above ground sandrock grave that could be hers. Do you happen to know. Thanks.

Thank you for updating the info on David's memorial. I do have a timeline of David that shows sources if you are interested. However, it is in an Excel spreadsheet and the only way to send it is via email. If not, thanks for the changes.

I understand where you are coming from and appreciate your apprehension as well. I too have come across those that failed to do their due diligence and back up their assertions with hard cold documents and refused to alter my stance. That is why I accept your hand off and promise you that I too will stand watch. I hope that I will do as well as you have. You may contact me at any time for any reason. GOD Bess you and yours
Sincerely Yours Cliff Bailey

Someone wants a pic of John and Peter's stones. I do not believe there is one there. A few years back a tornado went through this area and damaged the cemetery. I did find John H Starnes, of 1843, military stone and have posted it. Look at the difference in the last name spelling. It was behind his shared stone in some brush. You may want to have that stone pulled out and put next to his other stone. To the right of this stone in the brush is another sandstone marker. Thought is that it might belong to a Starnes... ? Peter or the other John. This other John(born in 1700's and died in 1866) is posted in this cemetery, not sure of the connection, but someone has posted his parents as Peter, which does not match, since Peter was born in the early 1800's. Have sent a note to them, to have reviewed. Thought I'd ask your opinion of a questionable marker in this cemetery and whether to post an unmarked stone photo. Take Care.

Thank you so much. I appreciate you letting me know of your willingness to transfer my family members. As a newbie on Find-A-Grave I was worried about asking for too many too fast ;-)
I am in fact interested in all the Wilbanks that you manage in Forrest Cemetery. Thank you.
There are also some additional Heath family members that I am interested, including a couple of husbands that married into the family. I'll let you know of the transfer request on an as I find them basis through the edit message feature as I come across them.
Thank you so much,

I am researching my partners side of the family. They came from Guntersville, Alabama.
Fathers name Robert Allan Stewart 1922
Grand Father Benton L Stewart
G Grandfather Thomas B Stewart
G G Grandfather Bazel R Stewart
G G G Grandfather William B Stewart.
I would like to know if you have any more information that you would like to pass on, especially about William B Stewart 1811 TN.
My partners name is William Robert Stewart born 1948 England, Sadly his parents parted and he never knew his father or the Stewart family. His main aim is to find out if the Stewart family actually came from the UK. If you are unable to help, maybe you can point me in the right direction of different websites that would be useful.

|GLENDA EISENHOUR||RE: Aubrey C. Cagle|
I have borrowed the funeral ledger which is what I'm working from to add names/edits to Find A Grave. This info was taken from the original worksheet used by the funeral director to obtain info from the family. Unfortunately, those old worksheets were stored in an area damaged by water and had to be destroyed. Eldora's husband is listed as A. C. The father was clearly written as Aubrey Claude Cagle. Of course, this is only as accurate as the information provided at the time by the family.
Hope this helps.

Always glad to provide my sources.
His middle name, Claude, is listed in the funeral ledger on the record for his daughter, Eldora Thomas.
