Wendy, you are welcome. I'm really enjoying doing this for others and getting to know my city cemeteries, which is only because of helping with this project.

RE: Marshall Family
Sorry, I cannot help you. I live 250 miles away in Iron River, and just took a few photos at the cemetery on Mackinaw Island when I was there for a religious retreat. I have no contacts there. But what a wonderful family to be related to! My daughter worked several years as a historical interpreter on The Island, and she loves that place (but she unfortunately has no interest in my hobby, otherwise I would send her there).

Hi Dale..I was wondering if you could please help me with some direction on how to locate someone that works with Find A Grave on Mackinac Island. The person that set up the Memorials I am looking at has passed away and I tried to contact the other person-JW and he has everything disabled. My Marshall family begins with Sgt. William David Marshall 131809149 and 38962250. The main headstone is large and it suddenly dawned on me that there is writing on all of the sides. The one lady did not put the headstone on all of the memorials that it belonged on and I am looking for someone that is there that may be able to look at it and tell me what is written on all of the sides. I saw today that there is a Samuel and Thomas...and I believe there are more. Thank you in advance for your time...Sincerely, Wendy

Thanks for the welcome. I added photos to Ida's page as well. I think Shirley posted the page. Hopefully they aren't sideways. I hope that helps her. Take care. Valerie

French and sideways pictures
Hi Wendy, I am not sure why those pictures are showing sideways. I'm very sorry. I add them through my iPhone so that may be the cause. I did look at a computer and see what you are talking about. I'll try to repost them the right way. I'm glad I could help. I'll see what I can do about posting the picture to Elvinas mothers page. I'm new to this and not sure how it works but you are welcome to post it to her page if you are able. Thank you Valerie

RE: Wymans
Wendy,
Feel free to post any photos on Ancestry. I find myself making that same request often.
As to the stones on the right and left of the family stone, they are as follows:
Right
1st & closest to the headstone - Mary A. Wyman
2nd - F.L. Wyman
3rd - Mary E. Wyman
Left
Closest to the headstone - Cora D.(Wyman)Lurvey
2nd - William Harwood Lurvey (I believe Cora's husband)

Hope that helps & those were the stones you were inquiring about.
Deb

Sent photos for Amanda
Do not remember a separate grave for her
The Grow you were looking for I could not find
There is a row of Grows but not there.. seems that
there was other headstones there at one time.
Maybe the grounds keeper would know. If you find something out let mw know where he might be and I'll go over and see if I can find him
