McMartins
It appears the McMartin family spent all their money on Maggie's parents monument and didn't add headstones for their own immediate family. But you did take a lovely photo of the McMartin plot. And I am sure they are all resting there.
Thank you. I do appreciate that you took the time to look for them.

I would LOVE to have the information from his death certificate.
He is our family member that left Quebec and headed west so we don't have much information on him. That information would be wonderful for our family history.
Thanks for offering and looking forward to hearing from you.

Glenn David McMartin Headstone
Wonderful photos...but it's not Glenn's headstone. It is actually photos of Glenn's in-laws burial site. That is a wonderful surprise! And will be loved by Glenn and Maggie's descendents!!
Could you please move the photos to memorials # 117742626, Thomas Phillip Durham and # 11742625, Sarah L. Durham? Apparently Glenn and his family were buried in the Durham family plot. There may be no photos of Glenn's family there.
Wow, such a surprise!! Thank you so very much!!

Melvin Peter Huggett
Hi, Ruth. I noticed your name as contributor of the info on my great-uncle, Melvin Peter Huggett's, Findagrave page. I never knew him, but his older sister was my maternal grandmother, Mary Ethel Huggett Craven. (There's another married name in there too, "Mero," who was her first husband, and my grandfather, but I didn't add it, as it was already getting long.) :)
I just wondered if you are related to the Huggetts, and thus, to me in any way? My mother was Alice Mero Sanford, daughter of Mary Ethel Huggett Mero Craven.
I've been interested in genealogy for a long time but since I'm still working fulltime (although I'm old enough to retire), I don't get to spend as much time on it as I'd like. Just today I ran out of work at the office and started looking on Family Search and Find a Grave and saw some, not all, of my grandmother's 11 siblings listed!
Hope to hear from you.

Photo for Elsie Kyle
Dear Ruth,
Thank you so very much for the photo you added to the memorial of Elsie Kyle # 111346723. What a pleasant surprise to see it today, especially when everything here is Alberta where I live is buried in snow!!!!!

Ruth, I would be so pleased if you would add the same photo to the grave of her husband, my great uncle Walter Kyle # 111346332. I could copy and paste but then it shows under my name and since you are the one who has taken the photo, I want you to get the recognition!!!!!!!!!! So good of you! If you follow the link from Elsie to her parents, Rev. James and Ellen Kelly, you will see you will see that the Kellys had 12 children and now, thanks to you, there there is a grave photo for every one of the twelve!

So happy,
Gloria

Thank you so much Ruth for taking the time to take this photo for me. Could you tell me, is this a cemetery for veterans and that is why they all have the same cross for a headstone?? I was pleasantly surprised to have had you do this in the middle of winter... I forgot the weather is not quite so bad on the island.. more like it is here in California. Thanks again your sacrifice on behalf of my ancestor is truly appreciated.

Isabel Goleman
You have a photo request in for this person at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre. If this is Isabel McGregor Goleman (Hockley) that was born in Scotland 1835, then the grave is tagged as unmarked but buried near William Goleman. Info also has her as 2nd wife of Young Goleman and the death date is stated as 1900-1910 so they did not know for sure.

Yes, I would be happy to transfer your family's memorials to you. Please use the "Edit" tab on the memorials you want transferred - then "Suggest a Correction" so I am 100% positive I am transferring the right memorials to you.

I have created around 26,000 memorials in different areas of the country/world - so to avoid confusion this is the procedure I prefer to use.

Thank you!
Yvonne aka Bear Hugs

I don't know when I will be down in that area as I have 2 showers, 3 weddings, a 60th anniversary party as well as my daughters' college graduation in the next month.

It is best to leave the referral up and when I or someone has the time, it will be claimed.
