RE: Hattie Zacharis
There is no way to make corrections from one cemetery/memorial to another, but both will accept corrections made to that cemetery individual with the proper proof (marker, cemetery record, copy of death cert. etc. BTW, Lorain, OH has no E.I only have St. Peter's cemetery record from an out of print listing of headstones. You would have to contact the holder of the other memorial to have any changes made there.
Hope that helps somewhat.

Hattie Zacharis
It said Hattie died in 1991 not 1891. I added these records from a long out-of-print book on the cemetery. If you are related in any way, I will be happy to transfer these memorials or if you provide photos of their readable markers, I will be happy to make any changes as indicated.

You are so welcome! I, too, am working on my family tree...some areas are very difficult and the language barriers too. The cemetery mentioned to me that his name is spelled Shipka in their records and on his headstone so once again, someone changed the spelling. My maiden name was Fern. I found no less than 7 different spellings of it and it's only 4 letters! Over the years, countries boundaries change, states change, counties change, depending what year it is. I's crazy! You really have to play detective when tracing the family back! I enjoy it though and enjoy helping others with theirs! Good luck to you...happy hunting! :)

Martha E. Boyer
I saw your message on findagrave concerning Martha E. Batman Boyer. In 1930 she is living in Franklin Twp, Putnam Co Indiana with her Sister Lucinda and Mary C. Payne also a sister, along with Esther, Martha's daughter. She most likely is buried at Rochdale, but perhaps she just doesn't have a headstone. There is a death record for her in Putnam Co., Indiana, she died at the age of 62 10 Jan 1933 in Roachdale. The next step I would do, is contact the Putnam Co. Indiana Health Department for her death record. Hopefully it will state where she is buried. The record book is P. 33..Her middle name was Elizabeth. Good luck.

Albert Shripka
I checked St. Mary's of the Falls Cemetery for Albert Shripka in the given location - Section D, Lot 4, Space 3. The only grave marker in that area with the name (Schripka) was Frank and Julia. There were no other names on that marker to indicate that Albert was buried with them, but there were no other Shripkas anywhere else in the area. I uploaded Frank and Julia's gravestone as it was all I could find. Sorry.

Cemetery records do not have a DOB or DOD. The only information is that she is buried in Section 1923, Block 1, Lot 059, Grave A. Buried next to her is Preffard. In same section and block, lot 58 grave A.

RE: Adam Wilhoit
I've been able to acquire the complete listing of the Hebron Cemetery and Adam Wilhoit is not listed there. However, I have found numerous errors and omissions in this listing and I'm currently inventorying the entire cemetery with three of the seven sections completed. If I am able to determine that Adam is buried there, I will let you know.

Cemetery web tool stores this interment as
Bricker, Katherine B., DoD 04-20-1965.
You could post a request for her obituary at
Montgomery Council [List or Board] at Rootsweb.

I don't have 'records' of Calvary Cemetery.
I volunteer to take pictures of markers when
requests are made at find-a-grave.
Perhaps you could call or write the cemetery for more information.

Wilhoit, Adam Photo request
Do you have any idea if Adam Wilhoit was buried in the old section of Hebron or the new section? The date of death would indicate that he was buried in the old section, but I have photographed all of the markers in the old section but have not found his marker.

The church records for the old section do not show any Wilhoits.

Around 1960, the church burned down and all records were lost. A volunteer inventoried the cemetery in 1962 and compiled a new listing but that document does not show any Wilhoits.

If the grave marker was missing or illegible in 1962, he would not appear on that list.

What information do you have that indicates that he was buried in Hebron? If you have solid evidence that he was, I can add his name to their listing.

Best regards

For some reason the transfer of Esther will not go through. It keeps giving me an error reading. I will keep trying.
