William Moore 85472321
Hello, I'm sorry to say but it seems William's marker is unmarked. He shares a niche with Melba Moore in which I've added the photo to both Melba and William's memorial.

I've requested an edit stating William's marker stating his marker is unmarked on his memorial.

RE: Turrentine
I am so glad you were able to do that. When I photographed it, I had no clue that it had no name on it and got home with it and started to put it on Find A Grave and could not see a name on it and went back to the cemetery to look at it again and there just was not one single name on it. I wonder if there was maybe a plaque or metal attachment that became lost over the years. I do know the Turrentine family here in town and in fact Carol Hale's mother is Johnnie Turrentine. I am so glad you took the time to research it. I made the decision to go ahead and put it on anyway after much thought and glad I did now. I thought maybe, just maybe someone would come along and add to it.

I was wondering how you figured out the names on this headstone. I have never run into a situation like this before where there were no names except for the last name on the stone. This one really stumped me. I am glad I went ahead and added it as is though as I hoped someone would know their names. Are you a relative?

RE: Picture for Martha Smith
You are very welcome. Sorry it wasn't your relative's mother. Smith is a challenging name to try to locate. Was out by the cemetery this morning and thought I would stop by and take the photos for you.

Good luck in your search.

There is an August and a Hannah at the cemetery with these same dates. Could these be the same people. I don't want to post the pictures is they are not the ones you are looking for.

RE: Nylund photos
I would be happy to help. The weather has improved and I have been able to get out and get photos. Crescent Grove is very near by and I know the staff there well and am familiar with the cemetery so it is easy to take photos there.

RE: Transfers
THANKS for the transfers of my Gerber & more relative Memorials! Of course, I see them as "ours" now, as I do everyone I get a "transfer for maintaining" on! I know what you mean..I have taken so many photos of headstones in Holy Family Cem. over the years, while Mom was living, but just never got them entered. Then someone made the Memorial pages & I knew it had to be done, or all of that work for nothing! So I went there over Labor Day weekend & spent 7 hrs. Monday in 100 degree weather cleaning & taking photos of what I didn't have. (There was enough shade & water, for breaks!) I'd marked my cemetery book & north-south plot pages with little green dots, to only take what I didn't have. As I finished up the north side, I looked for my book & south plots page & it had vanished. I can only assume someone came to visit while I ran to the store & picked it I had to take one of every headstone on the south side. Having done that yourself, I'm sure you know what I mean! I'll be working on getting those edited & entered for you over the next week!

Shaving cream on headstones
Thanks for put that information on your page. Wish it could be more visible since I know several people that do use that method.

RE: Your Nazareth Cem. project
Thanks! I totally understand! I'm also related to most of the families in Nazareth in one way or another. You already have much info on the Ackers, so I can add what photos I can, if that's what you prefer. I didn't realize you were their relative, too! I will be directing my Jost-Acker NJ & KY relatives to see those, & I'm sure they will love visiting the Memorials!

Your Nazareth Cem. project
Hi! I, too, have many relatives in Nazareth as my parents/Grandparents are from there. (Gerber/Sueper/Dirks/Stork/etc. I've been trying to add pictures of the many headstones I've taken & will try to get one for all Memorials soon. I'm related to the Jost/Acker O'Rourke family in NJ/ I'm wondering who you are! (Jake Jost is my Dirks cousin.) There is a Walterschied family North of Naz, & there are Paetzold & Loerwald's around. In the MN. family history I've studied, there are the names Steinmetz & Schmitz. I can check those further, if you are interested.

He is in fact interred in Resthaven in Hereford, Texas. I have taken the photo of the headstone and sent a note to the memorial creator to correct the cemetery.

RE: Holy Family Cemetery in Nazareth
You are so welcome! I am happy to do it. If you would like for me to send you the memorials to manage, I would be glad to transfer them all to you. I just did this for my son, who's paternal grandmother is a Wilhelm, and grandfather is a Hartman. Just let me know :)

Hi - These Hoeltings are my cousins. I have a bunch of other ones at this cemetery too. They are related through my Jostes family. Most had big families.
