Aberson and Dickel
Thanks so much for the photos Patrick! I never heard my Aunt Francis referred to as Mimi. Will have to ask her grandson about that. Aunt Francis married her 1st cousin, after Edward died. Her name became Francis Hirn Aberson Hirn. I wonder why she wasn't buried with her 2nd husband , and all the other Hirns at St John's .

Now I have to find out what RIEBE means over the Dickel name.

RE: Ralph Richard White
Yes, John Joseph White married my sister and they had four children, his son sent for his military service record, which gave his birth as December 1, 1925, however, I sent a request to Mass. Dept. of Public Heath, Vital Records, and received a reply of record NOT FOUND, they searched from 1921-1930. Also, his son sent a request to the Town of Milton, again no record found.

Therefore, I am looking for any help and or information, do you know of any relatives of Ralph R. White or Mary O'Brien White, which could shed some light on this dilemma.

Your Find A Grave Memorial #120982246, and Mary R O'Brien, Find A Grave Memorial #120982343

Are you related to these individuals? My sister married their son, John Joseph White. I can not find his Birth Record, do you have any information as to his birth?

RE: an old friend
I totally remember you. I remember everyone called you patty white. I'm sorry to hear about your wife. It's really nice to be in contact with a good friend of my dad's. We live in Boston now. I have 4 sons (unmarried). I used to think about you a lot and then nita showed me this site you made. It made me feel good to know that he's still remembered because it all stays fresh in my mind

Photo for Lena Ferro
Thank you so very, very much for traveling to the cemetery and posting the photo for the stone of Ferro, Ergens and Schultes. A few years ago I was able to locate the place of burial but did not have a photo. Some records show that Lena Ferro had most of the people buried in this plot were located in another cemetery and she had all of them moved there - her first husband, some of their infant children, some of their grandchildren, and her second husband and a son.
It seems strange they only have one stone but perhaps she did not have funds for individual stones. I doubt if any of these were cremations
as I don't think that was an option in those days.
Anyway, it was wonderful to see the stone and now I can record that information in my Ergens book for future family members to look up on the site.
Thank you for being a volunteer and providing this valuable service. Dorothy

Hi Patrick
Thank you so very much for photographing the headstone of my husband's two aunts who died as children. That the info in the stone is not of them, it does contain info about their aunt, uncle and cousin that we did not previously have. As a photo volunteer myself, I know that the graves that get photographed are the ones that provide the volunteer with the most information, but I didn't expect a response within a few days. Much appreciated.

Cypress Hills National Cemetery
The photographs you're taking at Cypress Hills National are the finest I've ever seen of these soldiers tombstones and the surrounding area in which they are located.
Your time and your talent is greatly appreciated and is a wonderful honor to our veterans.
Thank You.
