RE: Shumway Photos
You're welcome. I'm so sorry I didn't get better results. I'm also sorry my picture posted twice. Not sure how to remove one.

RE: Boutelles in Green-Wood
I can only search on CROOKS on the cemetery's website. Suggest you contact the cemetery and request a burial list for that lot.

RE: Recent photo
Richard I understand that this is not the headstone of Julana C Boutwell however Julana is buried in the that area with no headstone. Both Ramsey and Julana are buried in Section D Lot 8. Julana is in Space 3 and Ramsey is in Space 2 of Edgewood Cemetery. I put up that picture as well as the surrounding area to show the location of the her burial. I will be happy to remove the picture, if you haven't already, if you want. I have found that most people want at least the location if there is no headstone as in the case of Julana. Please let me know. I hope that your are having a great day.

RE: REGeorge & Estella Boutelle
I had checked prior in the public cems and only found Boutwell s in Overeast and they all look to be accounted for and photographed. That only leaves the largest cem and it is private. Give me some names and i will check with the caretaker. I know he has a list of all the names.
I will start attaching the photos later.

RE: REGeorge & Estella Boutelle
I went back to North Branch today and took a sheet that I printed from what I assume is your family tree on Ancestry(hope you don't mind). Here is what i found. Did a rubbing on the small maker, I came up with NATIE for a name, looks like it could be Nathan. Here are your relatives that I found;
Jackson and Fanny and William
Chandler and Peggy
William and Susan and John
Reuben and Rose and Fred
and yes William and his wife Betsey. If you create the memorials I will post the photo. I will be away this weekend but will check back on Monday. Just let me know. Also interesting in that there is a plot bought by William with a cement base in the middle but no stone or pedestal on it....

RE: REGeorge & Estella Boutelle
I will head over and check for Jackson. I do know the lady in charge told me that there were 14 burial plots in North Branch. I will check them out she gave me the plan.

RE: Nina Boutelle
Added the photos. Forgot to add that Henry's plot does have a Mrs Henry - A Nettie and I can not remember the last name, Died very young.

RE: Nina Boutelle
I believe that there was a Jackson in the next row. I can go back and check. Also
1. Henrys' plot did not have a stone for Henry, checking with the lady in charge to see why.
2. There was a small stone in Henrys' plot. Could not read it but wondering if it is Nathan.

No problem, Richard! I attend church where that stained glass window is located and I look at it every time I'm there :)

RE: Cremations and no location posted ....sometimes it means that they were cremated at Mt Auburn but buried somewhere else. If you call the office, they can tell you where they actually are or give you a location. Sometimes it means that the family has the remains at home with them.

D. Montgomery
RE: Major William Brooks memorial
Hello: to answer your questions: I really do not know if Hepsibah Draper Brooks , his second wife, is buried there in the same cemetery. Its possible, but since I also did not take the grave photo I am not sure who else is buried near him. Perhaps if you contact the cemetery directly they might be able to help further. Sorry I cannot be of more help. Best regards, D. Montgomery

Asa Farnsworth
Talked Cedar Grove Cemetery. Asa is there, died at age 63, 7 months and 17 days. Works out to 3 February 1799. I had deleted him from that cemetery, but re-posted him. His wife Elizabeth is also there. They are in Lot 1. See #127365749.

RE: Iva Morton
actually I find this occurs frequently when it comes to death cert. that say Mt Pleasant. It is also a crematorium, and a lot of times they will list entombed there or cremated there but not where the final disposition of remains are.

RE: Iva Morton
You are very welcome. This memorial was another sign that it is a small world. When I started putting in the links I realized that one of her daughters was a woman I knew. Esther (Turner) was the retired Postmaster of the first Post Office I worked in. The Turner's rented part of their house to the USPS in St Johnsbury Center. So even after she and Al retired I got to see them everyday I worked. She was a great lady!

Also, hoping you saw my message that Iva's husband is in Grove not Mt Pleasant Cemetery.

Harry Morton (trying again!)
Hi Richard,

I filled your photo request for Harry but the cemetery is not Mt Pleasant. He is in Grove Cemetery with his wife.

I have added Iva and a photo. I am more than happy to transfer her to you if you would like.

Hi Richard,
Thank you so much for the links to Phordice's parents - and for the information on his two brothers, which I listed and credited to you. Also, thank you for posting the two items on the photo section!
Phordice - what a unique and cool name! Any idea how he got that name?
Thanks again. Sincerely,
Chloe Perdew

I'm going to try a blacklight shot when it warms up to see if I can get a clearer picture for you. Do you want me to transfer Mary?
