RE: Bethel Cemetery
Yes, Bethel is located in Spruce Township, Bates, Section 19. Since you are coming down I-49, follow I-49 south to Adrian exit and go east on Hwy 18 to Ballard (about 11 1/2 miles. At Ballard, instead of making the left turn curve at the convenience store, follow BB Hwy south. You'll go one mile on BB before it curves to your right (west) and then go another mile west on BB and it will curve again south. From that curve going south you will travel another mile and make a right turn on County Road 8004. It's a gravel road and you will travel 1/2 mile west on it to the cemetery which will be on your right side.
When going back, if you don't want to back track on those curves, when you come back to BB Hwy turn right (south) and go one mile to D Hwy and then make a right. It's a straighter shot back to I-49.

So, the cemetery will be 3 1/2 miles from Ballard if you are watching odometer.
Have a safe journey.

Gary Hamilton
Hutchinson Cemetery
I noticed you posted the photos of the above cemetery. I have searched for this cemetery and have been unable to locate it. Can you tell me where in Livingston county this is located? Is it possible the name has been changed?

Mt Carmel Cemetery Bocks
I made several new Bock memorials at Mount Carmel Cemetery when I got your pictures. Do you want these memorials transferred?

RE: M. Miles at Anglin Hopewell
Should I update James H. Miles to include fighting in the Civil War, and the other items mentioned. I remember running across Civil War records but did not know for sure. Should I update M.M. Miles to Margaret Curry Miles? It's too bad we can't provide her a more appropriate headstone. I could research her a bit here.

McArthur McLain
I noticed you left a memorial flower on McArthur McLain's gravesite listing. Is he a relative? And, could his surname possibly have been McClain?
A person named McArthur McClain was listed on my g. g. grandmother, Minerva McClain's, marriage record as her guardian. I have very little info about him and was wondering if he might be her brother?

Hi. My name is Sherri Morris and I am from the Conway area in Arkansas. I am looking for any information on Starling and other other relatives. She is related to me through my father's side of the family. Is she Native American? If you have any information you would be willing to share, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much...Sherri

I am glad that I can bring forth all the forgotten in the Anglin Hopewell Cemetery. You can contact Peggy Anglin Bradford who lives within sight of the cemetery and her son lives down the road within sight of the cemtery as well. I am sure they would help you. Peggy's # is 606-474-4473.

RE: Bethunia Stone photo
Please send me the link to the photo you are referring to. The chalk is water soluble and will not damage the stone, the first rain will wash away any trace of it.

RE: Curry Photos
Yes. I plan to go back. It apparently is up to family descendants to maintain their kins gravesites, nost of which are hard to find in the woods and a lot of work needs to be done there.

She is buried in Chapel Hill-Public Lot 4, Space #345. I am sorry that she did not have a 'stone to mark her specific place, but I can tell you that she is in a lovely area.

Buried Hill Cemetery, Carroll Co, MO. Cemetery is grossly neglected, stones overturned, broken and covered with mud. RE: Tates at McCammon Cemetery
The only Tate I have is William Milton Tate (1831-1890). He was married to one of my Houston ancestors. I don't remember where I got the info that he's buried in Grundy Co. at Metcalf Cemetery. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

RE: Drummond Cemetery
I understand. It is not an emergency. If you can get the pictures at any time it will be greatly appreciated. It appears as if no one has been buried in Drummond for about 60 years, so I am sure that it is not kept up well. I am always amazed when I find cemeteries in that kind of shape that are that close to a fairly major city. I recently just found a cemetery where someone had just been buried 3 years ago, but appeared as if no one had paid it any attention at all since then. I had to jump 3 fences and out run some bulls to get there. Sadly I found a grave marking the town's first sheriff and and first city planner.
