Find A Grave Memorial# 135515174
Sister Antonia Schneider is my second great aunt. Thank you very much for recording her burial on Find a Grave. If you would like to transfer her to me, I would be happy to maintain her record going forward.

Thank you!

David L. Swartzfager
Your information for the grave of David L. Swartzfager is incorrect. Since he was not a
Catholic, he could not be buried in the St. Michael's Cemetery in Fryburg, PA. Below is the correct info. as I have it:

The Derrick 18 Jan., 1958,

Funeral Services For David Swartzfager will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in the Kier Funeral
Home here. Interment will be in the Emanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery, Shippenville. Mr. Swartzfager died at 8 pm Friday in the Brookville Hospital. Born March 30, 1873, Died 16 January 1958.

Kier Funeral Home of Clarion is no more and there is no Emanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Shippenville at this time.
The Cemetery remains and is on North street in Shippenville. David Swartzfager is in an unmarked grave there.
David was Lutheran and was buried in a Protestant cemetery. His wife, Rosa, was Catholic and was buried at St. Michael's in Fryburg, PA

RE: Graebor/Graeber
I base my correction on family knowledge (she is my 2nd Great Aunt) and the documentation provided by St. Joseph Monastery in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania.
In some places it is spelled Graber or Graeber or Groeber. And even with the Americanized version Craver it still gets misspelled.
In most instances (even in her own documents where she had to spell it) it is Graber.

I hope this helps. I can send over some pages from the convent if you need it.

Have you considered transferring the entry to me?

Best regards,

Thank you for pointing out and noticing that Rev Ernest L Fox may be buried in another cemetery

Until I get to Trenton NJ - I can rely only on what is written in the Red Bank Register - which is not always accurate - but you realize that it is what the family tells them - the family could have had a change of heart about where to place him

However - the name is quite common - it could be a mere coincidence but I will try to check it out

Happy New Year! and thanks

LaQue, Frank
I also found a matching stone for an Eleanore LaQue 1876-1958. Both were found at St Gregory's Cemetery. I thought they might be when I couldn't find them in the Northeast cemetery book at the library. They were listed in St Gregory's at the library.

I don't know where my head was the day I posted this memorial but it obviously wasn't paying attention to dates. Thanks for catching those. I also didn't know there was a separate cemetery for the Sisters so that was also welcome. Thank you!

RE: William Pelham
Hi Mr Swassing,

We are in your debt for taking the time to share all this wonderful information. There are currently three generations of Pelhams working on this and every day we learn a little more & get a little closer. We will be heading to England next month and hope to continue searching there as well. If you have any suggestions, we welcome them & thank you very much for all your kindness and direction.

All the Pelhams on this side,
especially me,

William Pelham, 1797 - 1865
Hi Mr Swassing,

This is my third attempt to reach you concerning the page you built for my GG Grandfather, William Pelham on Mar 7, 2012. I am trying to do family genealogy research past William Pelham without success. Is there a way to discuss this with you? Thanks very much for your kindness and consideration. It is amazing what you have done here!
