If you have the GPS on that cemetery, I will be glad to post it.
Also- took a picture Sunday of the New Gate-and Fence-to keep hunters out-
Apparently you have visited since the group did some of the cleanup wook. Rilene Eubanks-has done a lot more, and it looks super. It is a shame that the woods and the hunters did a colosal job of destroying the graves!

I am waiting on findagrave to post the gate- and then I will delete the one of the woods, and if you will- yours too.

You had a couple of pictures I did not take. Wish I had had the whatever to take a lot more over 25 years ago, when I was last there!!

Thanks, Gerry Hill

I do not know this person, but you are probably correct. I would contact that person and get them to justify her memorial. I do hate to see people put in the wrong place, but that seems to be the norm lately. A person is arguing with me about where a person died here. I know him very well, has an Albany address, but he lives in Lee Co. Cannot believe all you read in the paper. Are you close or could you give me directions for the cemetery because I go past it once a month on way to quilt class. I could get photos.

RE: Eli Stewart
Maybe you need to contact the other person who created the memorial. They created it first and Find A Grave usually gives them credit.

This cemetery has already been photographed. I know you are new, but before you add a new cemetery and take photos, you need to check if it has been done. Find A Grave will delete and your work will be done in vain. Setting up new cemeteries also causes duplicates, which will be deleted too.

Dear Josh:

Thanks so much for your time in getting the picture of Sarah McCants headstone. I make some trips here and there, but timewise and distance this one was a little beyond reach for me. If you ever need one from Jacksonville, you feel free to holler and I'll take care of it for you. Kind regards, Johnny

Dear Josh,

Thank you so much for the time and effort you put into locating my family member Joe Sims. My father always talked about him and told us he was buried in Friendship Cemetery. He was my father's 2nd cousin. My father's sister and grandmother are also located in this cemetery. I hope during your search you find their grave sites as well, it would mean so much to me.

With warmest regards
Rita

Talking about the worst, last month I went to a cemetery for a family massacred by Indians back in the mid-1830s. It took an hour to get to the cemetery (which was only about 2 miles off the highway), the cemetery was VERY over-grown, and it was over 100 degrees. But having a love for local history it was worth the trip.

You looked for two years? That's dedication! Are you related to anybody buried there? As for the photos they are great. Some I have received are far from what I would want, but these are very nice.

Streetman, Cook, and Dupree
Josh,

You deserve special recognition beyond all others! Of all the photo requests I have submitted I believed these to have the least chance of being found and photographed. I had to creat the on-line cemetery since there was not one on Findagrave at the time the memorials were created, and I was taking somewhat of a gamble.

Rev. Dupree is my great-great-great-great grandfather. Sinclair Streetman raised my great-great grandfather when he was orphaned. All four listed are related.

Did you happen to see any other markers while you were there?

Again, thank you so much for taking your time to go out and photograph these markers and posting them. I will be sure to give you credit if I use them on Ancestry.com.
