My heartfelt thanks for taking the photo of my Great Uncle Frank and his families headstone.
Sad story, his first wife Lillian was my grandmother Meta's sister. Lilly died in 1930 from Tuberculosis. Two years later, only 6 months after my father was born, Meta also died from TB.

Thank you so much, Bill, for braving the wet and cold at Mount Calvary Cemetery to photograph the monument at my wife's grandparents' grave site. We really appreciate your thoughtfulness!

Many, many heartfelt thank-yous for this great photo. I can now enter the information into my family tree as he was a relative. I really appreciate your volunteering to this project. I live in Washington state so there would probably be no chance for me to get out to that area.
When you pull up the photo of Willard's marker, it is very curious (and a little spooky) because in the top left corner there is a flag as well as a young girl's face. At least that is what I see. I'd be interested to know what you see (if anything).
Again, thank you so much for completing this request.

Are you related to Christie/Christopher Gibney? If so, was wondering if you have a photo of him? I have one marked with his name, but I don't know if it's the same person buried here or not. I'm not related.

Done, were you going to make a memorial for her husband?
If not I can - just let me know!

That is really neat. I am not in regular contact with that part of my family but I will most definitely ask my mom & get in touch if I am given any. I don't have an account on Ancestry...I would love to see a family tree!

Yes :) I was looking at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lackawanna, NY. My grandfather's grandparents were Frank P. Kaiser and Margaret Blake. My mom's name is Margaret, maiden name is Kaiser.

I found this after googling my maternal grandfather, Richard James Kaiser. I see I am related to these Blakes & found some really fascinating info! My grandpa passed away in 1973 at 40 years old from a blood clot in his lung (he dove into the family pool, hit his head, & was left paralyzed as a result). I'll have to get his information on this site too. This is great - I gotta show my mom. Thanks! :)

That was the only stone for Marshall in that area. There were no foot stones or other markers for individuals .. just the large Marshall stone.

Thanks for this thoughtful shot also. These are brothers (and their wives) of George photographed earlier. I did not have some of the death dates on the stone, so now, more mysteries have been solved.

Thank you Mr. Blake. Art married my grandmother in 1928. I'm glad you found his grave. Loretta Piehler was his sister.
I very much appreciate your photo. I will share it with my sister in Buffalo.

Hi again Bill,
Thanks for checking the other side of the headstone for me and getting the picture of that and the two flat markers for my grandparents. No family lives in the buffalo area anymore so not surprised to see those markers buried. Maybe someday if I got out that way I will give them a good excavation & cleaning. :)
My uncle was just buried there (literally last month) so he probably doesn't have a personal marker yet. I will have to check with my parents and see if they ordered him one.
Appreciate all your help,
