Harriett Roberts
Good Morning Harlan: I am researching the Clark, Roberts Family who lived and died in Smith Co., Texas; originally brought as slaves from Cobb Co., GA. Is it possible that you can share the source from which you calculated the relationship on Harriett Roberts, Memorial#84330773? Any additional information regarding the Clark/Roberts family would be appreciated. Thanks, Wanda (Roberts) Dean.

Tillie Svoboda
FindAGrave has three memorials for Tillie Svoboda in the state of Nebraska. Two of them have the same birth and death date. Their maiden names are not the same and they are not in the same cemetery.

The dates are wrong for Tillie Svoboda. This is the only Tillie I could find?

Prochaska, etc..
Thanks Harlan,
I have gone through all your information thoroughly and added much of it to my tree.
I had heard of most of those people while growing up, but just it didn't connect!! Mother spoke of all her cousins, etc. with her siblings and mostly they spoke in Czech so dad couldn't understand what they were saying.
Thanks,
Lois

I declined the changes to spelling because Find A Grave wants the spelling to reflect the stone.
From the FAQ: Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links. Do not include honorary or other suffixes in the Last Name field.
This is because the search will not find the the stone spelling and can lead to memorial duplication. I'll make a note of the other spelling. You may want to correct the ones you have already changed.

Frank H. Procaska
You have requested a period after the W on Frank's site. For some reason Find A Grave prefers there be no period...I too added them when I first started and now am receiving requests to remove them, which i do.

RE: Transfers
No problem. They are quick to do. I am only a caretaker for that cemetery, someone else did the spreadsheet and you have a connection.

Harlan, could you resend your transfer requests. I have been traveling and can't find the emails now.

There must have been a merge in this cemetery because there are now a TON of duplicates, not just Sypals, but other families, too. I'll go through and delete all of mine that I can find.

RE: Prochaska-Lukas-Lastovica
Harlan,
Are you any where near these burials? I see that quite a few do not have tombstone pictures. Could you by chance get the tombstone photos?
Thanks so much!
Lois

You are very welcome. I don't do this for the numbers, I do this to help family find their family and to make them great memorials. Glad to send them your way.....Shirley

Thanks for your efforts to find the grave of David Linton. I have found that he was buried in Kansas and have informed the manager of the incorrect memorial. Sorry to send you on a wild goose chase based on an incorrect memorial.

RE: Rachel Williams Dixon
Ok thanks for the info. I will just leave her on Find A Grave as is. And yes I know about these very old weathered stones. Some can be cleaned off enough to make out the words but some just can't.
Thanks for trying.

Carolyn

Thanks for checking this out for me. I got my info from someone who posted it on Ancestry. Actually the name of the cemetery is Pleasant Hill, but Find A Grave says it is now known as Pleasanton. Do you know if there is such a cemetery as Pleasant Hill?

Thanks, Carolyn
