I will be working on Chippiannock Cemetery in Rock Island, IL, in the next few weeks. You've listed one request as "Mary" but I need a last name.

You are Welcome! It was actually my dog who found her! He sat beside me in the car as we drove around searching, and all of a sudden he barked! (He NEVER bark normally) As I look over to where he was looking, there were her stone! :)
Have a Blessed day!

You're very welcome. They are buried in the very front section of the cemetery to the right when you drive in. -E.M.

The Frank W Fisher you have a request for could that be the Frank W that is on the stone with Frances Parsels the dates are the same. I didn't see any stones with Fisher on it though I could have missed it

Cropping is probably the least effective way to reduce a photo's file size. You end up losing parts of the photos. I use a program called Fotosizer - it reduces the photo's overall dimensions, and you can do large batches.

Thanks for the photos!
Did you get a full-view photo of the whole cemetery for the cemetery page?
Also, some of them are cropped awfully tight - do you have any that give a fuller view of where/how the stone sits? This isn't super-imperative, just asking.

Hi Dave ~
Sorry to say we don't have any further info on any of the Bosts in Hoy. We were recording as many Civil War veterans as we could find and the Bost men were 2 of those.

|Patti Ovenden-Scudder||RE: Blocklinger & Valiquette|
My sister and I found Diane E. Valiquette and Rev Fr Vincient "Jack" Valiquette. They are on the same marker. If you to Calvary and send a request for photo I can post the photos. We did find some Valiquettes and Blocklingers grouped together away from Diane and Fr. Vincient in the older part of the cemetery. We found one marker with Blocklinger close to a group of Blochlinger(differnet spelling) and Valiquette markers. I took photos of all. Before we started looking we stopped in the Office and dropped the names off to them. They were a little busy. They recently switched over to some new software and where having some problems with it. They still have records on old software and of course the original handwritten records. She said she would call me when she had the locations done. I'm waiting for her to contact me before I give you all the rest of info to make sure we have all the families. Patti

|Carla Kerr||RE: Location of Patton|
If you are standing on the road (37 Hwy/High Street) facing north there are two roads between the west fence and the Sarcoxie Cemetery sign. Enter the cemetery using the road closest to the sign on the west side. Cross the first intersecting road and they are in the second section on the left hand side (west side) of the road.
