John T Mowry & Louisa Mowry-Scott

This info maybe redundant, but I will pass it on.
The 1889 census indicated that the Mowry family was living in Fremont, Nebraska.

Fredric Mowry died in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 21, 1901. At that time, only two sons (Garrett and Shadrac) were still alive. Three daughters (Sadie Mowry-Scott, Mrs. Belle Mowry-Crowell, Mrs Maggie Mowry-Mowery) were still alive.

The burial records for Fairview cemetary were lost in a fire in the 1920's. A scout troop did a survey and recorded all legible stones within the last five years.

Most of the Daily Nonpariel newspaper has been digitized and is available online at the Council Bluffs Public Library.

I hope this info fills a few holes in the family line.

Dolly Green Annis
I found Find-a-grave photo for dolly Green Annis in Salt Lake City. You mention that she was an early member of the church. She is my 4th great grandmother, and I am trying to locate the names of her parents. She actually did some writing and journaling for LDS, and I am just wondering if you have any further information about her.

I found that the Church history library has a picture of her, and I am waiting for them to digitize that, but they say they have no other information about her. Would happen to know anywhere I could find for Information?

Joseph Henry Byington
Could you please contact me regarding the photo of the LDS polygamous men from Idaho that you posted on Joseph Henry Byington's memorial page (#49876306)? I have spent several years trying to correctly identify the men.

I got most of the information from a town book of Menan, Idaho . Where it listed everyone who ever lived there and their life story. Where my great grandfather and his friends were living. I read the book getting information on the Greens. There were two men I did not know who was who. So I looked at the relatives on Ancestry .com to figure who was who among the two men. I got all the names but the one: I listed as unknown . My great Grand father was Austin Greeley Green. His father was a polygamist too . Let me know if you have anymore questions?

Almost forgot. If Bill E. Doman has any memorials you want, please request transfer from their edit button. He wants to retire soon. Once he goes inactive it will be a real pain to get them or link them.

RE: Burrup memorials
My sweet husband of 42 years, Roger Dell Byington -> son of Ariel Ardell Byington -> son of James Henry Byington -> son of Joseph Henry and Hannah Molland Byington (his 2nd wife)

So the Byingtons are my children's heritage. Several of us have been linking, adding, & correcting what we can. We gather the memorials, then transfer them to their nearest family when we've done all we are able. Sometimes though we've promised to transfer back to the creator. I just got on board over the last 4 months, sometimes working several hours each day on this project. So I will transfer the Burrups to you to fill in whatever holes we were not able to.

Happy Patty's Day to you. Oh yes, I forgot to tell you my maiden name is O'Bryan... grins

I guess by your last name that I have some of your Burrup family memorials. Would you like to have me transfer them to you? I am really only interested in keeping the Byington surname memorials which marries into your Burrup line. Please let me know.
Thank you. Janice (#46607209)
