Thanks for fulfilling my Photo Requests for the Stewart and Newton memorials. These folks are relations of my wife.

Its very possible that since a stone has not been place by now, that the immediate family may not place a stone. The family did not have a Funeral service at her request, and she was just buried.

Thank you so much for the pictures. No wonder I couldn't find Peter Page and his wife Hannah Brooks because the stone reads Peter Paige.All his other vital records throughout the years listed him as Peter Page. Thank you again.

Thank you so much Richard. I was baffled for a brief time with the DAU until I reasoned it must be daughter the way Frederica (Sis) was sister. I just feel a wee bit odd that her married name wasn't used but I see no reason to spend that much time on it. Thanks again.

I'm not sure. My sister-in-law put up the marker for my wife even though she is buried on Long Island. I am not sure about her parents. I do believe that Wallace is buried there as he passed away at my sister-in-laws....I think. Thank you so much.

You must be a cousin to sniff him out. lol
Thanks so much!!!!!!!
I will go check it out now.
I guess the town clerk had it wrong when she said he was not buried there.
Thanks for the diligent work.

I would love to learn more about your Bailey's and Sperry's.
I have links from Abner to Abner to Alfred and then to Peter....if you need any of that information I'd be happy to share, compare too if you like.
(I acquired Will Extract of Harriet S. (Bleasby) Leete which listed a whole lot of family members and descendants).
By the way, I heard from a gal in New York who has a booklet of sorts on the Bailey family. She searched www.familysearch.org and found me listed as a provider of some Bailey information and then contacted me to see if I wanted the booklet. I told her yes. If you like, I'd be happy to share the information once I receive it. I'm most curious to see what all is in the booklet myself.
I am an offshoot line via Dayton McCoy Grover who is my great uncle who married into the Leete line via Emily Leete. Emily's sister, Elisabeth Leete of course marrying Abner Bailey Senior.
Hope all is well.

|rick pickwick||RE: Brown plot|
yes that would be great. Are you related to General Jacob Bailey/Bayley? Ruth is a descendant of him through her mother Elizabeth (Betsey) Bailey/Bayley. The line would go:
Elizabeth - John - Col. Joshua - Gen Jacob.
They were in the Newbury, Orange, Vermont area.
I will get to the transfer today. I had an auto accident and have been dealing with auto ins companies and looking for a new car and banks all week. What a pain. now I get a wonderful car payment, lol.
We still are looking for that footstone for Daniel R Brown. I had always wondered if he was buried with his wife or his sons Nathan and Warren. Somebody (town clerk) said he was in Marshfield in the Aaron Brown plot. Now I am wondering if the footstone is grown over with grass?

|Rebecca Wright||RE: Lucy Bliss Cole|
Thanks for the info, I assumed that she was at Fairview as that's where her marker is located and your photo is proof positive! I assume that the other memorial was created because they did not know where she was buried. I will let them know she is at Fairview along with the photo of her memorial. I am not at all familiar with the area so you've been quite helpful.

thanks for the pics. I was wondering about the plot pic. You said Ruth was on the right and Dean is on the left. It looked like there was another footstone just to the left of dean's. is that true??

There are no words grand enough to thank you for the photos of my 5th great-grandparents! Not only had I been searching for some time to find their burial places and my hunch was correct...but the information that Hannah's grave marker held has opened several new doors in my family history search! Honestly, that is more information on Hannah's grave marker than I think I've ever seen on a marker, why it's nearly a complete bio! Thank you so much for the close up photos as well, your time and efforts are greatly appreciated!

|Vickie Smejkal||Kornel W Bailey - findagrave|
In the 'edits' I tied Kornel to the wrong parents. (I have two Kornels and two Abners and need to watch closely).
This Kornel W Bailey (d. in Connecticut) (husband of Katherine Bacon) belongs to Abner Bailey #16460409 and Clara Sperry Bailey #16460435
Sorry for the mix up.
