|Kathy||David and Nancy Ann Hess|
George I would like to make contact with you on this line. My ancestor is Jacob Hess, a son of David and Nancy Ann. I have found that David Hess was not born in Huntingdon County PA as had been thought. He was born in an area in what was then Baltimore County, Maryland, today it sits in Carroll County, Maryland, known as Hickory Ridge in that 1783 tax district Pipe Creek Hundred. Peter Hess, David's father, lived on 60 ac. that belonged to Ethan Loveall, possible brother to Elizabeth Loveall. Peter did not arrive in Huntingdon County PA until 1789/1790 when he shows up on the 1790 census there.

Hello Mr. Hess
I am doing Ancestry.com and have been doing it for about a year. I have always been interested in family history. I don't have a person in my husband's family who can give me good family history. My husbands ggg grand father is Richard Young, B. 1811 in Tazewell, Co., Virginia. I would love to here from you. If you could give me your email address so we could email each other. I check that more than my Find A Grave messages. Thank you for the willingness to share your knowledge. Sue.

Thank you for your response. The picture that you had of Mary may help me identify some I have. I have not been researching very long and there is no one left in my family that is able to help me identify pictures we have. Just trying to piece together the puzzle and put names with faces. Again thank you so much for your response.

|Charlene Martins Fuhlendorf||Hello New Friend|
I really enjoyed your phone call, and sorry that we are not related! However, we can support our efforts to find our families that have possibly been lost to us over time at this site. I will try to find some more information on your relative in Virginia City. I may have some relatives in Missouri, so maybe you can help me some day with some research? Take care. Charlene

|Danny Redmond||RE: Mary Molloy birthday|
Thank you for your message and pointed out the mistake. I rechecked the Civil War Pension Record of Elizabeth Cassity Hayes for her husband's (John T Hayes) service and it has a "Bible Record" that lists "Mary S. Hayes born September 7, 1875 in Linn Co., Mo., (in pencil)." I'm not sure how I got 17.
Do you have any photos of Jefferson Davis & Mary (Hayes) Molloy? Any of her brothers and sisters, or even her parents? I do have one photo of her brother, George Morrison Hayes, along with his wife and two children.
Thank you. -Danny
