Hi there! I just found her pension record on Fold3 and she states she was born in Laurens County, GA. Let me know if you need any more information. Have a nice night! :)

RE: Jewish Cemetery in Savannah
How awesome ! I am envious. We live in Atlanta so I don't get down there often. My husband and I toured the Temple years ago when we were in town. Our guide was amazing. Have you ever gotten access to the Brampton cemetery that's at the Port? It's on company property so you have to get special permission for them to let you in. That's one I really want to see, too.

Jewish Cemetery in Savannah
I was wondering how you were able to get access to the Old Jewish Cemetery in Savannah since it is locked up. I did stand on top of my friend's car to look over the wall but that's all. Did you know someone affiliated with it? Thanks!

Clementine Lebey
Debi, Thank you so much. I just sent you a transfer request for her. She is the sister of my 3 great grandfather. There father was a famous composer of his day. You can check him out on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hill_Hewitt

he was also a rival of Edgar Allan Poe and according to legend one of there arguments ended with a fist fight. Coincidentally, both men, my 4 great grandfather and Poe both died on Oct. 7, which is tomorrow but about 40 years apart. Poe first of course.

Thank you so much for finding Clementine for me. I've looked for her before and not found her. Thank you so much for all your help. You'll be happy to know that she's found a good home. My younger sister has a baby not yet a year old and used Clementine for her middle name.
Thanks again so much!
Amy

Under better circumstances this a beautiful, well maintained National Cemetery but with the dry conditions here, the grass has gone dormant and is very brown.

RE: D'Angelo Pictures
Debi, you're very welcome. I also have D'Angelo relatives here in NJ. Well, my nephew Jay anyway. I passed the info along to his father Chet just in case they were his relatives too. I think it's great to try to reconnect with the past in this way. Ron

RE: Mason, Lewin & Milster
Deb,

It's my pleasure and honor to record memorials for the people I've done so far (not nearly as many as most).

Anyway, if you look at Dad's memorial there's a photo of four people. My grandpa, Dad, me and my son. Four generations - enjoy.

RE: Aldenderfer - Buerk
Debi Try it not. I added the photos (I think I did ?) last night. Maybe in another cemetery? I was working on three different cemeteries last night - I will try to find them. But photos have been added to correct memorials. Andrew

Thanks
You did an AWSOME job of finding the Washburns and I commend you.
Do you research the historical society for obits, marriage, death and other records?
Could you also transfer Mary Ann Bird Washburn and Mary Ann Frances Washburn to my care? Again, thank you very much.
