Still no marker.

Fred Thompson
I was at Momosa yesterday - there is still no memorial stone for Fred Thompson or for his grandson - Anthony Panici. I tried to get photo of Elizabeth Panici's stone - but it will not photograph well- is black and reflective.

Frick monument
I took a photo today of of Destany Frick monument as you requested on Find A Grave. If you contact the person who claimed the photo to unclaim it - I will then be able to upload her photo. But for now the site will not let me. It is a beautiful monument. Thanks.

RE: Tom Stevens
Glad to help! I also added photos for his Dad Richard and brother Mark. I took a closer picture of the military plaque on the back, but when I downloaded it, the stone is so highly polished it reflected me taking the picture! Next time I'm in Rolling, I'll try to remember to retake it. Tom was 10 years older than me, but I do remember his brother Gary.

Mark Barrett Gravesite Photo Request
Dear Kip:

I just returned from visiting Korea where I paid a visit to the Korean DMZ. I saw the place and memorial where the North Korean axe murders took place in 1976, where two American soldiers, Arthur Bonifas and Mark Barrett were killed by the North Koreans.

I did some research for Mark Barrett's gravesite and saw that you already placed a gravesite photo request on, which has not been fulfilled yet, perhaps because there is no gravesite location placed in your request.

I called the cemetery and they informed me that Mark Barrett's gravesite location is:

Section G, Block 211, Grave 3

Could you please put Mark Barrett's gravesite location in your revised photo request? (Unfortunately, forbids two photo requests of the same gravesite.)

I would really like to get a photo of Mark Barrett's gravesite as he was a true patriot who gave up his life for his country and also South Korea.

- Sid

Thank you so much for kindly photographing Luama's headstone for me, it is greatly appreciated. Just one thing, could you please "right" the photo? It is on its side! Thanks!

RE: John Wood headstone
Thanks for the kind words. I didn't know of the Woody Harrelson "connection." I don't know if you are related to Judge Wood or not, but there are a number of other Wood monuments, presumably family members, that already have memorials on Find a Grave. They are within a family plot, the border of which may be seen to the left in my pic. I could very easily add the pics of those monuments as well if you so desire. Please let me know.

Go to and click on genealogy, then click on noble county records collected by c.j. whan, then click on whan collection. I found them under obituaries. Happy hunting. Barb

Emmett and his wife Mildred have a nice photo shot already. Is there something else you wanted? I found their obits online plus those of his brothers Robert S. and Ronald Franklin. Would you like the website to read them? Barb
