RE: Fort Boonesboro Cemetery
The real Cemetery is down near where the stone fenced area is. Your second picture. I saw a plat once of the real Fort and the cemetery was just outside the Fort to the South. They were doing some digging there last summer down there but they weren't looking for the graves only artifacts of the Forts existence.

Fort Boonesboro Cemetery
Hey, the six or seven graves along the road (KY388) are not real. They were placed there several years ago by the grounds keepers for a prop to show what old tomb stones looked like. He went on to say something about using them as a Halloween prank also I went there to doctument them and was told this. Non of them are from that area. I wish they would take them down.

YES! I am still searching for the grave sites of Thomas and Patience.

I do know that the cemetery at the fort does NOT contain their graves.

I think I have found their graves on their homestead site, but cannot prove with a dig and DNA comparison.

Always looking for info on Thomas and Patience

THANK you for looking. Do you remember seeing Thomas and or Patience name(s) on the tomb stones?

How far away do your live from this cemetery? If you cannot find your pics I will be glad to pay you to rephoto these specific graves again.

I've transferred this memorial to you as requested. My relationship to him is 2nd cousin, 3 times removed. His great-grandfather, Claiborne Rice, was my great x4 grandfather.

Hello, you are welcome. I only wish there was a photo of her. She certainly was too young to pass.

RE: James S & Betty J Pickens
Thank you so much for the information! I did make some changes to the memorial I added for James Sanford Pickens but he is not a direct line relative of mine - although I'm sure our Pickens lines connect somewhere back in time. Since you are a direct line Pickens descendant through Betty Jean Hattabaugh I will be happy to transfer his memorial to you.
I have been researching my Pickens and many other family lines for about 15 years and I can't pass up any Pickens information I find. My lines goes back to my 7th great grandparents Robert Andrew Pickens and Esther Jeanne Bonneau. Before them I'm not too sure.... I am a DAR member through my 4th great grandfather Andrew Pickens, Private in the Revolutionary War. He was a first cousin of the famous General Andrew Pickens.

Eldrige M. Bowen
Thank you for the information on Eldrige Bowen. I have added it to his memorial along with his photo and obituary and linked him to his father.

I did not see a memorial for his mother. Do you know where she is buried?

Are you related? If so, I will gladly transfer his memorial to you.

It's hard to find Burl's memorial page. His # is 30935370 in case you don't have it. I added a wood sculpture photo that he made to his page but it can always be replaced with a photo of him. If you have a photo that you want to use instead of the sculpture let me know and I will remove the sculpture I added. I have requested his page be transfered to me but I have not heard back yet.

Talk to you later,

Lee I had a thought tonight, would you like me to transfer the Hattabaugh memorial pages I now manage so you can maintain and manage them? I will and I certainly would'nt mind if you would like me to. Just let me know ok. I enjoy mantaining them but they are your family and I would understand if you want to.

Have a nice day.
