Memorial 3552059
There are 2 grave photos on this memorial. Would you mind removing the one you posted. Only one is needed. Thanks much.

Memorial# 3573760
This is my second request asking if you would be so kind as to remove your photo from this memorial. The more current photo is more clear and readable. I don't see any need for two photos - we all want only the "best" for our military. I understand that you had the best intentions, but cameras have changed over the years, and I have removed many of my own taken with an old camera. Please consider my request. Thank you...

Duncan MacDonald Fernie - There are two grave marker photos now on this memorial, which is not necessary, and I would request that you remove your photo, as the other photo is more readable. Thank you very much...

Yes, I'm sure this is the right one. Unfortunately there is a misspelling on the headstone, but this is the correct grave. Thank you again for all your help!

Holy Cross Cemetery photo

Regarding your photo of the grave of Alfred Krohn at Holy Cross Cemetery, I was wondering if you would be able to add that same photo to the memorials for the others who are listed on the same headstone (Alene March, Ellen Zimmerman, and Elizabeth O'Hagan). Thank you so much for your help.

RE: Guenleys
You're welcome. They were among some graves I photographed there and I was trying to figure out if I had a duplicate of other people's entries or not.

RE: Guenley/Stobing
I have sent you some 'Edits' that you can process. Now I'll wait for the dust to settle.
Do you want to let Philip know that there are links pending? Or do you want me to contact him?

Added by Ann on Jun 16, 2015 10:47 AM

Don't do anything yet, I will send links to A Firefly. When the dust settles, I'll let you know.

Rose Stobing's obituary in 1935 lists her name as Stobing and maiden name as Guenley. Unfortunately, the online archives for the SF newspapers don't include 1976, so I don't know for sure with respect to Rose Jenkins/Guenley.

Thank you for photos
Thanks so much for the photos of John Kelly's and Annie Beale's graves at Holy Cross. You are very kind and I'm very, very grateful.
Best wishes,

George A Barker, memorial 3549990
Hi Rita,

I just posted a headstone photo to the memorial for George A Barker and notice you have a photo on that memorial. However, that particular photo is for George A Parker (memorial 3618399) which already has a photo. Therefore, could you please delete from the memorial to George A Barker? Thank you -

May I have permission to use your photo of the tombstone of my cousin for my genealogy?
Thank you,

Requesting a transfer
To request a transfer;
go to the memorial and click on the "edit" key in the upper right hand corner.
Then you can type your request and send it.

Then I will have to update the memorial before I transfer it because I see you are a collector and not a researcher.

I don't think I've thanked you yet for all the help in Holy Cross - especially finding correct dates. It is appreciated!

Henry Workman's Gravestone
Thank you very much for taking a photo of Henry's gravestone. I appreciate the time and effort that you have given this website. It has helped me immensely with my genealogical research.

Catherine Workman
Hi Rita,
I fulfilled Anne Arkfeld's request today for a photo of Catherine's grave marker and when I uploaded one of two photos that I took, I saw that you had uploaded a photo of your own. Unless Anne had duplicated her request, you must have posted the photo without a request. The request protocol is there only to avoid what happened today ... a duplication of effort. I could have fulfilled someone else's request in the meantime.
Just thought I'd remind you of Find A Grave's little regulations.

RE: Charles Washabaugh
Thanks for deleting the duplicate! No problem. It's happened to me twice in the last two weeks! (I was uploading with sleep deprivation and spaced out.) Thankfully there is a guy I've never met but rely on ... he checks my work and adds tons of data and edits for me. And catches my errors and duplicates! It's awesome.
