Thanks for adding the photo of my grandfather Palmer Bentley. Is that my grandmother Lizzie Coleman in the photo with him?

Michael, I was deleting duplicate entries I had made on Find A Grave and deleted your Vonda. Please tell me which cemetery she was in so I can find her in that folder on my pc and upload her again...unless you want to add her from your end and I will upload the picture if you will send me the link.
May God bless,

You may want to research Peter Coleman and Elizabeth Bentley as Arminta's parents. I know they had an Arminta and the dates and location (Russel Co, VA) would be correct. I do not know who Arminta married.
Peter had four wives (Charlotta Thompson, Catharine Stiltner, Sarah Dale and Elizabeth (some say "Mahalia") Bentley. 1827 would have been right for Elizabeth, however, apparently Elizabeth and Peter had a Daniel Coleman on 15 Oct 1827 so possibly the birthdate you have for Arminta is incorrect. We are pretty sure about the one for Daniel as he is buried here in Pike County.

|F. Hylton||RE: FAMILY|
As far as i can get is George's parents, James Helton and Arminta Coleman.
Name: James Helton
Birth Date: 1819
Spouse's Name: Arminta Coalman
Spouse's Birth Date: 1827
Spouse's Age: 25
Event Date: 21 Oct 1852
Event Place: Pike,Kentucky
Just can't seem to find them before there marriage. 1850's census has a Arminta Coleman living in Russell Co Va. If that's her then there is a bunch of Helton's that settled in Russell Co Va. Wished i could of been more help........ F.Hylton

Hi Michael, as being close kin no we are not. Have you tried tracking down your Hylton roots. If your ancestors were John and Elizabeth Hilton from New Kent Co Va then we are ancestral Cousins. Have a good day Cuz... F Hylton

You are most welcome! Yes, I do remember you. Our parents are buried in the same cemetery. I'm guessing they might have knew each other. Are you related to the Hansen's that used to live out on 66....and off what used to be Penasha Rd. Now I think it's called something different.
