Memorial has been up-dated. Such a simple thing as a maiden name can answer a lot of questions.

I made the corrections you sent & added John's parents to Sacred Heart, Bushwood. I linked John to his parents. Do you have a list of Thomas Gonsalvo Hodges's children ? Also his parents ? Maybe we can get more links made for this family.

I don't know if you know this or not but there were to Cahill sisters that married two Labus brothers. Let me know if you know about this or not ok. Also om my husband's side of the family there was a Luella LaMothe that married a Roland Spies...does that name ring a bell? I saw some of there name you are doing research on and just want to see if you have any of this.
Have a great day,

|Maureen LaMothe||RE: Walter Cahill|
This Walter is related to Joseph Edward Cahill and Malinda Ellen Smith. Joseph is the son of Samuel Cahill and Arminta Fitzgerald. Carvel and his wife Malinda did have a son named Walter but his full name is Walter Warden Cahill and he was married to Emma M. they are buried at the Vallhalla Cemetery which is not to far from my husband's work. I need to get to that cemetary and others in that area and take some pictures.
Take care and have a great day!

Debbie, I transferred both your grandmother and grandfather to you. I'm happy to make changes for you but they are no relation to me so I'm sure it would be better for you to manage their memorials. Thanks, Carol

|Donna Kemp & Teri Libell||Infant McCullison|
I have access to newspaperarchives.com and searched for the last name of McCullison. I found this article.
Louis G. McCullison and Miss Helen L. Saint, both of Decatur, were married at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon by Judge J. H. McCoy at the court house. The groom is a painter.
The Decatur Review (Decatur, Illinois), Thursday evening, May 13, 1915, Page 14.

|Don Perryman||Pierre Belleville b. 1796|
Hi there Debbie. I noticed your comment on the Findagrave entry for this guy in St. Ferdinand's Cemetery in Florissant, Mo. I am a 3rd ggrandson of his and am trying to sort out his kids. He has a son, Pierre Jr. whose stone is shown on Findagrave that says he lived 1811-18. However, I have also found records that say a "Pierre Belville" married a Lydia/Lydie Alire/Alere 25 Feb 1834 in St. Ferdinand's and that a Pierre Belleville & a Lydie Gregoire had a son, Auguste who was buried at St. Ferdinand's in 1854 (age 18). I am just wondering if Pierre Sr. reused the name after his first Pierre Jr. died in 1818 or what explains this conflict - i. e. that we know one Pierre Jr. was born in 1811 and died in 1818 and another married in 1834 and had a child in 1836. Any ideas?

|Kathi Lynn King||Rennie|
Hi Debbie I saw your message to Paula about Mary Rennie & I didn't write down her husbands first name Lytle. I have a File on Rennie's (they are married into's) not my direct line but do connect to my tree back to England & Scotland in the early 1700's maybe I could help you with your research. Kathi

|Carol Kane||Ouvre/DeHatre conection|
This is amazing! Ellen DeHatre's father was Jean Baptist DeHatre called (Sarpee) the brother of my husband's DeHatre ancestor Adeline DeHatre.
Alexander and Ellen were married 28 Sep. 1886 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. She did die in childbirth 31 Oct. 1888. The child Alexander Louis was baptized 31 Oct 1888. After that I lost track of father and son. I could never find death record for either one of them. If you don't already have it, I can send you a copy of the church burial record. The priest wrote a lenghty tribute to her. Keep in touch.

|Carol Kane||Teson Family|
My husbands family goes back to 1784 in Florissant, he decends from the female line of the Deshetres( DeHatre) there were many intermarriages with the Teson family. When I find a connection with any of the old families I try to follow the line and join as many mambers as I can. I am a volunteer with Historic Florissant Inc. and genealogy of the old families has become
a special interest. I live 10 minutes away from St. Ferdinand Cemetery, and I spend a lot of time there and researching the old church records. It's very addictive.
