Thank you so much Carol for taking the pictures of Cecil Carroll and Elsie Carroll. I appreciate your help so much. My only great aunt married Samuel Carroll and I believe these are part of his family. I am truly grateful for all the help that is given by you. Tina

Thanks for checking for his grave marker. Did you happen to check with the historical site's office to see if they knew where he was buried in the cemetery and whether or not he had a marker. I believe this is a tourist attraction and someone would know this information. Or were they closed when you went to look. I am surprised that his burial would be marked with just a field stone, but then again 1843 was a long time ago! Thanks for your efforts and let me know if there is any possibility the office would know more and perhaps I should call them to get a plot.

Dear Carol,
Thank you for taking the time to go to the Pen Park-Gilmer Family Cemetery to look for one of my grave requests. I truly appreciate your servant heart. Have a happy weekend.

RE: Thank you
You are very welcome. It does appear that the marker is at the foot of the grave if she was buried in a full size casket. Some of the markers in that cemetery are placed that way so it is not that different, just thought you might like to know. I do have another photo showing the full grave site if you would care to see that.

Allen Family Members
Hello again Carol,
Thank you for your very nice message.... yes, I do have memorials for Aunt Olive's husband Bernard Peyton Allen and for their son Stephen Teel Allen....... it would be wonderful if you could place the photos of their headstones on their pages. I do not have the memorial for their son Wallace, unfortunately, but the headstone photo is already on his memorial page.
Husband, Bernard, and son Stephen are linked to Olive Cooper Wallace Allen. If you need their memorial numbers, please let me know.
Thank you again for your welcome contributions; you and all of the volunteers on findagrave are doing such an amazing service!

Take Care,

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! The photograph of Olive's headstone is deeply appreciated.
Those of you who give of your time to go out to the cemeteries where we are unable to travel to and fill our photo requests truly do help us to come full circle in researching our loved ones..... you are blessed.
Take Care,

Have not forgotten you Carol, just will be so very busy with personal matters in the next couple of weeks. I am raising my grandson and his senior year in high school begins next much to do, and at my age, I am just a bit slower at it.

The name of Morning (aka Mourning) is well-documented as well as mentioned in her husband's, will.

But there is more than one Robert Adams. Robert Adams III, son of Old Robin, was married to a Mary.

Robert's memorial was transferred and I am still confirming this is his burial site. I do not know where Penelope is buried, but most likely it is with her husband.

This line is related to my son through his father. I do have quite a lot on the Clark, Anthony, Moorman, etc families....most is already posted on Find-a-Grave and nothing is hard copy, it is all electronic transcriptions from Will Books, Deed Books, published articles and books, etc.

However, I would be happy to send you some info. Which name do you want me to start with for the ancestry report?

RE: Thanks very much!
Hi Carol;
I had called the office at the cemetery a few weeks ago to confirm interment and they explained where the grave was in great detail. I followed thier directions on Google Earth as they explained it and then put those directions in the photo request! Thanks for taking the time to go out there and get these photos. It's a great help to me. Steve Keefe

RE: Hello from Jo
Hi Carol, So nice to hear you are well. Wow! An African Safari? Lucky you! Any unique photos to share?
I was going to put a request in for the cemetery but couldn't remember who it was I was looking for. LOL I get so overwhelmed at times. I have over 10,000 family members in my tree now.Alot of people only do their direct line but I am so addicted, I just keep on keeping on. Some stories make me laugh but some are so sad I can't help tearing up. Guess it helps me count my blessings.
Sorry about your co-worker. He sounds like my family with all my Aunts research that won't share.
Well, I am glad you are doing well & got an amazing vacation. Keep in touch, Jo
