Powell Reed Memorial# 145631551
Do you know where his parents are buried or any of the brothers & sisters are buried. I cannot find any of them other than his brother Ira Reed Memorial# 28598873 and Julius Paul Reed Memorial# 49552641 and Royd Reed Memorial# 65911910.

Any information you can give would be helpful.

Thanks Cheryl

There was no male Weaver whose birth and death happened (Stillborn) in 1908. Death certificate #0800159 indicates one female, stillborn and no twin is mentioned. The picture of the gravestone is of the female, Dora and was attached to the male record also. Please remove this link (baby) from this family you have noted on findagrave.

Thank You,
Connie (great-niece to said infant Dora)

I already took care of it a few hours ago. Thank you for so much alerting me to my error. Kansas vital records are hard to find.

Greetings. Yes i was able to attend the service. It was a wonderful experience. I took lots of photos and was fortunate enough to meet two living Medal Of Honor recipients. A huge highlight of my life!

Magnolia is adjacent to Cedar Hill. I don't know the history, but they may have been a single cemetery at one time.

You can email a copy of the DC to me at

You said: "death certificate has him buried in a different cemetery. Does he have a headstone in this cemetery?"

Answer: Yes. The headstone pictured on Find A Grave is indeed his. Someone else took the photo, but this is my great-grandfather, and I have visited his grave in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Please feel free to post photo of DC.

Thanks for your interest.

RE: Mariah Saddler
I'll go ahead and change it to Sadler. I photographed every stone I found in that cemetery last year, and didn't find another Saddler or Sadler. Not to say that her husband isn't there too, just his grave may not be marked.

Thanks for the info.

RE: Mariah Saddler
Ok. Thanks.

Yes, there is a headstone; the one in the photo on her memorial page is hers. If you look close enough, you can see that Saddler is indeed spelled with two Ds, but it also wouldn't be the first time a headstone was wrong either. Let me know if you want me to change it. Is she a relative of yours?

Thanks again.

Mariah Saddler
Hi. Question about the edits you submitted for Mariah Saddler in Galilee Cemetery.

You suggested that her maiden name was Cothran, but also that her father's name was Blunt Saddler. Seems like it would have to be one or the other. Let me know so I can update the memorial with the most accurate info.

Thomas Ellis Higbee
My family tree indicates that Thomas Ellis Higbee is a direct descendant of mine but I can only find documentation that his name was "Ellis" and not "Thomas Ellis". All other info posted here matches info I have found. Curious to know where you found the name Thomas as the given name. Is there a headstone still physically present in this cemetery? Also, his parents; Obadiah and Caroline have Find A Grave memorials; 86965517 and 86968913 respectively. Can you link them?
Thank you,
Sherri Sayers

Thank you for transferring my Bradley to me! Could you transfer my great grandmother Lillie Mae as well? I plan on adding tons of information to their bios this weekend. Once again thank you so much. I appreciate that you created memorials for them.

Are you related to Bradley Peete? You created a memorial for him in May 2015. He was buried in St. Matthews in Tipton County, TN.

RE: Charles Schroeter
Greetings! Yes, its great news that Mr Schroeter will finally have a proper 'home' for eternity. And Miramar is a beautiful park, too. I had been in contact w/ a representative at Greenwood Cemetery, along w/ the MOHS, to have him marked at least. At first they claimed they were still searching for NOK even though common knowledge was that there werent any. I will be at his reinterment services on 9 July. It will be a great honor to be present for this historic moment.
