Hello from one Dar Member to another! We are helping to mark Philip Crumes gravesite here in nelson county ,ky, to help the Gov. Isaac Shelby Sons of the American Revolution. They marked his gravesite Sept 2013 as you can see from the picture I have added to his memorial. They did not have any open dates to have a ceremony so they went ahead and marked it, but wish to have a proper ceremony for him in Nov-17? tentievly and get as many descendants there as possible. Just wanted to let as many know as possible. Thanks !

Janet,
I went to Paoli Old Town cemetery and took a picture of Zachariah Lindley's memorial on Sunday. I have posted it on findagrave.com.

Janet,
I'm not sure what you are referencing. I am currently researching Potters from Lincoln County Kentucky. Email me at valeriethompson2001@yahoo.com

RE: Zacharia Lindley
Hi Janet,
I think you are probably correct about Zachariah's death occurring in Martin County, as I have it that way in other sources. My husband descends from Zachariah through his first wife, Anne Braxton, and their daughter Mary Lindley Lynch. Many of the Lynches also died in Martin County but were buried in Orange County.

I don't have a picture of the headstone but hope to get one when we are back that way in August. (We live in Kansas but my father-in-law is still in southern Indiana.) I got the burial location from this website: http://www.wbiw.com/local/archives/2011/10/marker_dedicated_to_first_oran.php

Thanks for your input on this, and I will make the change.

RE: Beriah Dayton headstone
Janet,

I'm quite sure that there are not any other still standing Dayton stones nearby.
