For clarification: My great grandmother Sturm's maiden name was Sharnock. Her mother remarried a man named Carpenter. My great grandmother only used her step-father's name on her marriage record and only as a favor to her mother who asked her to as a favor to her because her step-father, Mr. Carpenter had been good to them. My great grandmother never used the Carpenter name again and regretted not using her father's name on her marriage record. This information was also given to my grandmother Edna Gertrude Potts Sturm by her mother-in-law and then told to me as the previous info was.

This Jesse Sturm is the wrong one. The siblings listed on #89184494 are the correct ones for my Grandfather Jesse Reed Sturm who was born 16 AUG 1893 at Conaway, Tyler Co., WV. He died on 13 NOV 1951 in the Veteran's Hospital in Charleston, Kanawha Co., WV. He is buried on a spot on his property that he chose before his death. He liked the view. Since his burial there it has become a community cemetery. He was a WWI U.S. Army veteran and has a government issued flat gravestone. I have never been there and I don't have a photograph of his gravesite. It is on a steep hillside.
There are several infants buried beside my great Grandfather Joshua Lee Sturm, who has a grave monument and my great Grandmother Martha Matilda Sharnock Sturm, who does not have a grave monument. My grandmother Edna Gertrude Potts Sturm knew her mother-in-law and liked her. She told me that her mother-in-law was a hard worker and loved her children.

Hello Donell, I just thought you'd add names of his parents and I sent links request which appears in your edits tab on your home bio page. Do you know about it? Many contributors are just now discovering it. You can be sent quick & easy edits for name, dates, relationships for linking to parents and spouse. But the owner of Frederick's mother doesn't have correct birth year nor her maiden name. That's why I sent you a separate SAC with names of parents. Let me know if you have received my edits. thanks!

Sorry, no I don't. The ones I'm adding now are from a book I bought several years ago and only contain 1900-1909.

|Thomas Chumley||RE: Benton Queen image|
Thank you for your help. I don't want ownership transferred to me, but I very much appreciate the offer. Benton Queen is the direct ancestor of my neighbor and he does know a little about him, but is inexperienced in this type of research, so I offered to help him with the family history, etc.
