RE: Elmer Rudolph Clemetson
Bonnie Schaffer and I are working on the West Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery.
We are been working for over a year and we are down to the few last people that we have no stone for , that I know of?
Bonnie got permission to look at the West Freeborn church records that date back until 1880.
This is what she found:
Elmer Rudolph Clemetson
Birth: December 1,1892
Died: October 22,1918
Father: Even Clemetson
Elmer's death is included in West Freeborn Lutheran Church Records

I checked in the Minnesota Death Records and I could not find him there? So I looked at the date and figured that he might of been in World War I??

So I found his name in the
Soldiers of the Great War in Minnesota
Private: Elmer R. Clemetson-Hartland

I looked him up on Ancestry and I found a family that said that he died in France.?
So I e mailed that person to tell me how they knew this? I have not heard back yet?
So now I am going to e mail Linda Evenson from Albert Lea Historical Museum and see if she can find me a newspaper article? Then maybe we can figure this out?I see that his father and mother are in Lakewood Cemetery. But he has a infant brother Arthur Berhnard Clemetson 1888-1888 buried in West Freeborn Cemetery.
Thanks for all your help.

Elmer Rudolph Clemetson
I have a question and hope that you can help.
You have Elmer R. Clemetson
buried in Lakewood Cemetery.

I am helping to put together a cemetery book at West Freeborn Lutheran Cemetery
We have found a record
Elmer's death is included in the West Freeborn Lutheran Church records.
Born; Dec. 1, 1892 Died: Oct. 22, 1918
We found out later that he had died in France.

Can you tell me for sure he is buried in Lakewood?

RE: Henry Alert Jonson
I have made the addition of his middle name. I just wanted to double check because I hadn't heard of that name before.

They moved from Waseca to Texas in about 1970, but Barbara and Merrill Rust were/are my aunt and uncle. The eldest of their five kids was Linda.

Where in MN are you? I grew up in St Paul (before moving to Canada in 1972), and used to have relatives in Kellogg and Waseca.

William Nahl - Found at Last!
Long ago I promised to look up the microfilm for William Nahl's death certificate. With too many lists on the go, I lost track of your request. In the meantime I found that has posted many of the BC Archives vital records. Maybe they were always there, I don't know.

I found your request tonight. The DC says he was indeed buried in Nelson. I created the memorial and wrote a short bio, #134161315.

Oak Land vs Oakland - Trondhjem Cemetery

The name of the cemetery for Halvor K. Fodness has been changed from Oak Land to the Oakland-Trondhjem Cemetery. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

Thank you for the additional information. I like to give credit, where credit is due, and you did there search and should therefore get the credit. In addition, if at some future date, someone wants to know the source of the information they can tell immediately without asking.

Thank you again for everything you are doing to preserve the memory of those that have gone before.

Thank you. No, I don't have anything more specific on the dates.

Orville Dahle
I am LaVonne Dahle, great granddaughter of Jens T. Dahle and granddaughter of Omar Dahle. I was looking thru the Dahle family memorials and noticed that Olga Theodora Dahle and Orville Dahle (brother & sister) share the same marker but there is no memorial for him...he was only 10 when he passed and Olga was only 14. Think you could create a memorial for him and use your picture you already took for Olga for his too? Thank You.

Kim Haukoos

Thank you for all of your hard work. I was so happy when I found that you had posted Walter's cemetery with our Haukoos crew. I had not realized that it was almost one year since I had searched for Peter Andrew and family.

Thank you again,
Just another crazy genealogy nut,
