Hi Chiquita - I see your name on many pages of my kin. Just wondered, if I give you a list, if I could use some of your photos on my myheritage.com family tree site. I see here that Martha Isabelle Stackhouse Wilson was your great-great-grandmother. Martha was the sister of my great-grandfather John Allen Stackhouse, and the aunt of my grandmother Grace Allen Stackhouse Pruett. Sincerely,Robyn Pruett Madison

I have transferred the above memorial to your care.
You mentioned Underwoods in your email. I have Underwoods, Moores, Morgans, etc., in my ancestry. I wonder if we are related? Contact me and let's compare Underwoods.

|Mandopkr||RE: Floyd Newlin|
Thank you very much for your reply. The birth date was one day different from what I had copied out of the Newlin Bible which was written by his sister. I wasn't sure it was my great Uncle, but I believe it was. I just don't remember the name of his 2nd wife.

Do you have any info on Floyd Newlin's father who was Henry Arcus Newlin? I am trying to locate where he is buried.

|Marilyn Gayle Thompson Kimmel||Katherine Underwood|
I noticed on the page for Roy Arnold Baker Katherine is listed as his spouse. How long were they married. He was killed in World War II and was buried in Europe. My great aunt married his dad Russell Ott Baker and raised him.

I noticed that you left a comment and said you were distant relatives...how are you kin? I've been looking for the "Moore" side of my family for years now and was finally able to get in touch with them this year.

I would love to meet you someday! I have met Jen and Jane so far, they are great! I live in Muncie, so that is east central Indiana, closer to Ohio than Illinois. The next time either of us travel in the other's direction, maybe we could meet up at a restaurant or somewhere like that!

You are very welcome, as always. We had some neighbors like them, they lived across the alley from us and had a big orchard. Us kids would drive them crazy asking for peaches, but they always just laughed and told us to take what we wanted, they were wonderful! (John and Clara and the peaches!).

|Jim C.||Re: Heckler Family - Old County Cemetery|
I went out to the Old County Cemetery yesterday in Santa Rosa, CA. There are 1561 known graves in this cemetery and 1353 known individuals buried there. However, there are only 349 burial locations with known names. The exact burial locations for Henry and William Henry Heckler are unknown. I did post some general photos which give you an idea of what it looks like.

|Teresa ||RE: Ernest Mickler|
Just wanted to let you know that I have heard from Ernie's cousin. After some investigation, he discovered that Ernie was cremated, his ashes scattered at an undisclosed location. The family is trying to erect a memorial to Ernie that will be placed in Sampson Cemetery. It has been an interesting journey to "find Ernie." So glad I was involved! Thank you!

|Kathryn Kovacs||RE: Ellettsville|
I grew up in Ellettsville, IN. The only school there was Ellettsvile High School then in the earlier 60's they built a new school and named it Edgewood High School. Which is where I graduated high school. My great Aunts Betty & Virginia might know who you are talking about. I do know that a Galloway moved up to Bloomington and is buried there.
Last weekend was our families Cazier Reunion. I should of come home this year. I can't wait for you to meet my Aunts. They are a family treasure. I love them both dearly. We spent so much time doing things with them such as fishing, camping & more fishing and camping. LOL We had a great time and lots of wonderful memories.

I don't know many living Morgans.....
I just have dove into the past and worked my way up...still not to the living...
Eric lives on Morgan rd Taswell...think he is related to Jesse Morgan the oldest of John L Morgans children...he is busy with raising kids and doesn't seem to have the time for genealogy info. Maybe one day. Please call when you get to town, I know you will be on the run ...but it would be good to compare notes,

|Michael Thompson Ross||RE: Burris Ross|
Henry Ross and Catherine Morgan Burris were married in Virginia in the early 1800's. They gave each of their several male children the middle name Burris. I've often come across this family, but can find no linkage to "my" Burris Ross. Thanks, for your perseverance, Chiquita!

Yes, I am related to some Crites in Co. and they came from IN. Harry David Crites and his wife Betty Crites, are cousins to my husband. They had three children, Marty Joe, Cheryl Ann, and Kimberly Renee. I know of no relatives with those other last names. I'm curious if you think we are related. It's always nice to make contacts with family members. Please let me hear back from you!

|Michael Thompson Ross||John Dooley|
I'm Michael Ross, #47835276. I'm interested in your posting of a gravestone picture for John Dooley and Sarah J. Denbo Dooley, Memorial #74651408, at Mathers Chapel Cemetery, English, IN. The Dooleys' daughter, Margaret Dooley, was married to my great-grandfather, Burris Ross. I would like to get in touch with someone who is tracing the Dooley line, with the hope of finding out more about the relationship between Margaret Dooley and Burris Ross and especially any information I can uncover about siblings and parents of Burris Ross. I do know that Burris Ross died a pauper in Harrison County, IN in early-December, 1857, and that Burris and Margaret had one child together, Ambrose Ross, in 1853. So, you see, John Dooley was father-in-law to my Burris Ross, and any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated, especially information about siblings and parents, place of birth for Burris Ross. Many thanks!
