I would love to meet you someday! I have met Jen and Jane so far, they are great! I live in Muncie, so that is east central Indiana, closer to Ohio than Illinois. The next time either of us travel in the other's direction, maybe we could meet up at a restaurant or somewhere like that!

You are very welcome, as always. We had some neighbors like them, they lived across the alley from us and had a big orchard. Us kids would drive them crazy asking for peaches, but they always just laughed and told us to take what we wanted, they were wonderful! (John and Clara and the peaches!).

I have transferred them over to you. I thought my sisters and I were the only ones who made hollyhock dolls! We used to go around the neighborhood and sell them for a nickel each, we sure had a lot of kind neighbors who put up with us! I hope you will soon recover totally from your knee replacement, my brother had one and he limped around for about 2 years, but is fine now. We are doing okay here. It was good to hear from you, take care and stay out of trouble HA HA!!

So glad you liked the new improved photo. I knew I wasn't happy with it and that you deserved a better photo. I was happy to retake it for you. Chris

|Jim C.||Re: Heckler Family - Old County Cemetery|
I went out to the Old County Cemetery yesterday in Santa Rosa, CA. There are 1561 known graves in this cemetery and 1353 known individuals buried there. However, there are only 349 burial locations with known names. The exact burial locations for Henry and William Henry Heckler are unknown. I did post some general photos which give you an idea of what it looks like.

I took some photos this morning of their headstone. It had rained last night, so the stone is wet. I'm not sure it would look better dry, but I am certainly willing to go back when the weather is drier and take another photo for you. Just let me know your wishes. Chris

|Kristie Moore||RE: The Heckler Plots|
Thank you very much. I am holding my youngest nephew, who is going to be turning a year and a month old in a couple of days. His name is Bennett.
I am going to have the other person link Irma to her son and I will delete mine but will add the picture of the plot I took and add it to her page since she doesn't have a picture up. I am going to delete my page for the son since she has a picture of the plot as well.
Thank you very much, I try to do my best. Since I work a lot I don't time to go and take pictures of plots as much anymore.

|Jeanne Holland||RE: Micklers|
What a nice thank you! You may use the photos in any way that you wish. I did not have a request for them through email, but they were in a section of the cemetery that I was doing and thought I might as well since I had seen those graves over and over again and kind of knew where they were. Most welcome.

I have transferred them over to you, as always, let me know of any you need. I read what you had posted to Arthur's memorial, and I think you did a great job, what a sad story, but important for people to know who have an interest in the family. I know what you mean by the Menierre's disorder, I have that inner ear problem also. Mine was caused by a virus that destroyed my 8th cranial nerve (balance and hearing). I went totally deaf in my left ear, but still have the tinnitis, roaring in my ear all the time, it is just maddening. I don't have the vertigo as much as I used to, I had it real bad for about 2-3 years, this happened back in 2006, so until about 2008 or 2009 I had trouble walking and vomited a lot. Inner ear problems are terrible. Take care and I wish you the best, I always enjoy hearing from you.

It helps me a great deal when people take over and add the info. I work Monday through Friday I work and right now with the cooler weather on Saturdays I am in cemeteries. So thanks and any you can add info to just let me know and glad to transfer.

|Teresa ||RE: Ernest Mickler|
Just wanted to let you know that I have heard from Ernie's cousin. After some investigation, he discovered that Ernie was cremated, his ashes scattered at an undisclosed location. The family is trying to erect a memorial to Ernie that will be placed in Sampson Cemetery. It has been an interesting journey to "find Ernie." So glad I was involved! Thank you!

|Kathryn Kovacs||RE: Ellettsville|
I grew up in Ellettsville, IN. The only school there was Ellettsvile High School then in the earlier 60's they built a new school and named it Edgewood High School. Which is where I graduated high school. My great Aunts Betty & Virginia might know who you are talking about. I do know that a Galloway moved up to Bloomington and is buried there.
Last weekend was our families Cazier Reunion. I should of come home this year. I can't wait for you to meet my Aunts. They are a family treasure. I love them both dearly. We spent so much time doing things with them such as fishing, camping & more fishing and camping. LOL We had a great time and lots of wonderful memories.

|Mary Ellen||RE: Morgan re-union|
I don't know many living Morgans.....
I just have dove into the past and worked my way up...still not to the living...
Eric lives on Morgan rd Taswell...think he is related to Jesse Morgan the oldest of John L Morgans children...he is busy with raising kids and doesn't seem to have the time for genealogy info. Maybe one day. Please call when you get to town, I know you will be on the run ...but it would be good to compare notes,

|Michael Thompson Ross||RE: Burris Ross|
Henry Ross and Catherine Morgan Burris were married in Virginia in the early 1800's. They gave each of their several male children the middle name Burris. I've often come across this family, but can find no linkage to "my" Burris Ross. Thanks, for your perseverance, Chiquita!

|Janice (Teel) Crites||RE: Crites-Bakers-Strothers-Mathers|
Yes, I am related to some Crites in Co. and they came from IN. Harry David Crites and his wife Betty Crites, are cousins to my husband. They had three children, Marty Joe, Cheryl Ann, and Kimberly Renee. I know of no relatives with those other last names. I'm curious if you think we are related. It's always nice to make contacts with family members. Please let me hear back from you!
