Thanks for the photo of Mr. Hackney's headstone.
His bio doesn't mention that he was part of a B-29 outfit (58th Bomb Wing) that took the first B-29s into combat against the Japanese throughout SE Asia and on mainland Japan itself.
He was certainly a true American hero.

To remove, just go to the memorial. Click on the photo that you want to remove. There is DELETE tab. Just click on that one. It says something like, "Are you sure you want to remove this photo?" Click "yes".
