Guess they aren't as nice as other places. I still need to go check out the downstairs area of the mausoleum. One of the groundskeepers offered to give me a tour when it wasn't close to 5.

Were you able to get any section maps from Sparkman? I have yet to catch anyone in the office to be able to ask.

Wow really? That bites, but I usually just walk around and stumble upon whatever I find anyway so it's fine with me. But thanks for the heads up. ~ Judy

Just wanted to keep you informed. Make contact, but now they request that all inquires be made by letter to obtain burial plot information. I sent letter via certified mail. However, have not received any news.
I thank you for all your help, patience and understanding.

I contacted the cemetery and found the plot location for Emmett Blakemore. It is:
Section A, Pioneer Garden, Block 13, Lot 6, Space 6
If you do fulfill this request, can you see if any other Blakemores are in the same lot?
Aliso Viejo, CA

WOW- You were not kidding that it is hard to get info from them. (You had responded to my photo request that I needed to call them for a plot location). This is the best that they would give over the phone for the graves of Jesse and Ora Harkey; D level, Sanc. of Prayer, Hillcrest Mauseleum. They said that it is open 8-5. If you get a chance and are out that way, I would appreciate a pic, if the grave location is not detailed enough, I understand. Thanks for your help!!

|Rick Daily||Gertrude Warren Gravestone Photo|
Thank you so much for the photo of Gertrude Warren's Gravestone. It helped me to get some dates straight.
She was my Uncle's Mother, and in talking to my Aunt, she was married about six times, but I found it interesting that in the end she was buried with her 1st husband's name of Warren.
Would it be okay if I used this photo on my family tree? I would not use it without your permission. Either way, thank you very much for taking the time to do this.

|Rick Daily||Sparkman Hillcrest - Gertrude Warren|
Last week I received an email from you regarding my findagrave photo request for Gertrude Warren. I called the Cemetery and obtained her burial location. She is located in the "Garden Of Roses" Block 68 - Lot A - Space 3.
I have added this info to her memorial on findagrave. If you should happen to be visiting Sparkman Hillcrest in the future, and have the time to take a photo of her gravestone, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your initial attempt.

I sent a message to find a grave so hopefully they will add the note to find the lot number etc before you put in a request for a picture. Thanks for the headsup.

I just called the cemetery and got the location for his burial. I added it to find a grave. Court of Flowers Lot 108 Space 1. If other family is buried there I would love to know it. Thank you for your trouble. I'll have find a grave add a note for Sparkman.

Thank you for the information regarding not being able to get a photo for this memorial. I did not know this person, but wanted to add a memorial for him. I hope that a relative, or someone that knows where his grave is will fulfill the request. Thank you! Cecile
