RE: Fred M Jones
Yes it is possible he is a stranger. But his dates from the tombstone are reasonable and his name is correct
The bad part is that he is not buried with any family. And they are buried in the same county

RE: Fred M Jones
Samuel M Jones & wife Mary C ( Wygal ) do not show in the 1900 US Census. Their son Fred is head of household and they lived in Radford, Va. In 1910 Fred & brother Carl Hunter Jones lived together in Tazewell County, Va. Their sister
Annie B Jones & brother Charles also are no shows in 1910. Sister Essie is buried in Rosewood Cemetery in Lewisburg, W Va. Sister May Jones Goodman is in Rosewood also. Son Carl H is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Roanoke, Va.

RE: Catherine Samantha Hiltbold Spencer
Yes, this page looks very nice, will be helpful to a lot folks because of the extra info. The Obit and Death Cert are really great additions.

Catherine's father was named Henry Hiltbold and he was born in Switzerland, but died in Tioga County. I can't find anything about his burial site. Catherine's sister, Josephine (FG#46099007) is also in Wellsboro Cemetery. Don't know how to connect them without a page for the father. I have noticed some folks create a FG page, but with the burial site shown as "unknown". Do you think this is a good idea?

Josephine married Thomas Spencer, the nephew of Catherine's husband, Alanson Spencer. Do you think is useful to go back and link the husbands pedigrees?
