RE: Maria
Hi Barb,

The memorial #62948035. It's in the Moyer Cemetery in Eaton County, Michigan. Her full name is Maria "Mary" Boyer Cummings.

Thanks, Cindy :)

Maria "Mary" Boyer Cummings

I am a little confused about the monument/headstone for Maria "Mary" Boyer Cummings. It says Codding on headstone, as well as in description. Can you please check on this for me?

Thanks, Cindy Wilson

Josiah Sleeper
Barbara, Josiah Sleeper was my 3rd Greatgrandfather.
I am a greatgrandfather trying to put the pieces together. My mother was a Sleeper, daughter of Daniel George Sleeper(1861-1949) son of Daniel F. Sleeper(1830- ) son of Benjamin Sleeper, son of Josiah.

Moses Sleeper

I was wondering if you could confirm for me where you got the information for Moses Sleeper. There's another record for a Moses Sleeper with a different birthday, but same date of death. The city and state are the same, but the cemeteries are different.

I'm wondering if this is the same man, but that maybe there's some conflicting information floating around somewhere.

The other record states his wife was Maragaret Sanborn, and that is the Moses I'm looking for, but I'm having a hard time with the fact that there are two people with the same name born only a month apart and dying on the same day in the same city and state!

Hoping that since you're a Sleeper yourself that you could help me!

The other record is Memorial# 126503607

Claypole in Warwick
I ahven't forgotten about your photo requests for the Claypole's in Warwick. Just been a little busy. I have confirmed they are buried in the same plot in Warwick. Next time I can get out there I will get the photos for you.

Fair genealogy
Hi! You and my husband are related through Andreas and Maria Catharine Shaeffer Strayer. I have a copy of something your mother wrote titled, "Sara F. and Alan R. Sleeper, Jr.". It looks like what ever it was published in was on page 175 & 176. Unfortunately who ever sent it to me sent it at really low resolution and it is very difficult to read. Is there any chance you can send me a better copy?

RE: Charles Warren
I found his death certificate. I will send it to your email.

I haven't found anything yet as I've been a little busy but I will get on it very shortly. With all the snow we have around here right now, I wouldn't be heading out for awhile any ways.

Charles Warren
I noticed in your request for Charles Warren that you were looking for a cause of death? Are you still looking for it?

RE: Clapole memorials
I will have to dig into that. The church that used to be there is long gone as are most others in the area. Warwick is a very small town that doesn't have much anymore. I will make some calls and get back to you.

I had a look out in Warwick for William Claypole's grave but I was unable to locate it. But i did locate his son Frank and his wife. If you would like these photos please photo request them. I will have another look when the weather gets warmer for William.

cora Sedore

I have tryed to transfer Cora to you 2 times now and it tells me I have already transfer it, but it still shows it is in my name so I don't know.

You may have to get in touch with Find A Grave.

Cora May

You asked for transfer of Cora and only gave me a Find A Grave number, I look through all my people with the first name Cora and do not find the Find A Grave number you gave me. I do not know how to find a person with just a number. Is there a way?

Glad to be of help. Forgot to tell you that I volunteer at a library teaching newcomers how to research and how to find stuff. So the tomb I wrote last night comes naturally. Assuming that you did not know any of it.
Keep me posted on your progress and feel free to ask any other questions.
Never thought about reducing the size of the page--will remember that when it comes time to print one.

Noticed that you married you sweetheart; met mine 49 years ago this coming Oct 22; we are starting the celebration of our 50th year together by taking a short vacation. Should be a good year-we plan to celebrate a lot.

RE: Cecile Betts
Normally you would go to the page that you wish to manage; in the upper right corner you will see the edit button...use to make additions like a middle name, dates, places; links to parents; etc

Write a note to the person who created (or manages) the memorial; say what you want them to do.
If it is transfer I ususally give the reason that they are part of my family, I wish to add lots of stuff & may need to do more as I learn more; usually I get the transfer; about 20 per cent of my family is managed by others.

NOW to the the fallen graver OR inactive graver I used the following address

TO: Report copyright issues, Request Cemetery Data, Assign Fallen Graver Stewardship, and all other questions.

I use the highlight, copy, paste method a lot so what I do is copy the memorial # & related info which would be the name of the creator, the # of the memorial & the date...I also type in the name of the person; explain that I would like to add info, but can't due to fallen graver or due to inactive graver...THEY DO THE TRANSFER.

I just did a married couple, sent both memorial #informations & explained that I was asking for both because they were a couple, both in the same cem, with the same creator who was inactive. Got a transfer rather fast; usually takes a few weeks.
MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE YOUR PERSONAL # because when they use the transfer key, it comes up with to what # do you wish to transfer this memorial, they insert the number & off it goes.
Your number is by your name on your bio page.

Go to your e-mail, create a new "person"; I named mine Find A Grave...put in the address above and write the note just like an e-mail.

BTW...1943 was a VERY GOOD YEAR...I too am 69; just been here (Find A Grave) longer so have discovered more

SO YOU KNOW...the address for Find A Grave above was in the FAQ area, you look at all the most often questions...then down below they have some additional information. Almost seems to be hiding; you have to scroll way down to find it.
I did the copy paste so you should see just what was written for the address. Hope this helps.

Also you do know that for very LONG messages or ones you no longer need to read, you can delete them. One at a time as far as I can tell--but it can be done.
