RE: Charles E. Pepper and Lois Jeffery
Hi Linda,
I somehow missed your message from last year. Charlie and Lois did not have any children. I would love to have a copy of their marriage certificate. Could you email it to me at Do you know if Lois has any living relatives. It would be great if they had any memorabilia Lois might have from his time in the army. Thanks

William Oates
Hi Linda,
I have added the bio to William Oates, minus the info about living people. Against Find a Grave guidelines and while Iím not the strictest adherent to the guidelines, I donít feel comfortable adding sensitive info without the personís consent.
Sorry for the delay--I tried emailing you a couple of times, but maybe it didn't go through.

RE: Elsie Mann

Thank you Linda for leaving the obit for Doris - I like to have as much as possible on these pages as a tribute to their lives.

Hocking memorials
Hello. I've been working on the Hocking memorials and wanted to touch base on:

Susan Hocking: You suggested a birth year of 1884, but the stone says 1883 and her age 76 agrees with the 1883 date. Also, I put her date of death as the 8th instead of the 9th because the obit mentions she died on Sunday, which was the 8th (maybe the obit ran in the paper on the 9th?). Finally, you mentioned last name of Hosking twice; I thought maybe that was her maiden name, except the brothers listed in her obit are surnamed Hocking. I left her maiden name blank but can add it in if you let me know what's correct.

Edwin Hocking: Instead of changing it to January 2, I left his date of death the 1st as shown on the stone and matching the obit which speaks of his death on Friday (which was the 1st).

Thank you.

RE: Lucy Harris Sarah
I added the marriage year. They were married in the Liskeard registration district. According to the 1911 English census, Gordon was born in Newquay and Thomas at St. Austell. Thomas' birth year is 1907, he is aged 4 on the census, plus I located his birth registration. His father got his year of birth wrong on the naturalization papers.

Margaret Sidlosky
RE: John S. Sidlosky
Hi Linda,
My sister and I have found tons on Sidlosky's. Had no idea the name was so common! You wouldn't happen to be on would you? If so,I'd be happy to share my tree with you. If not, I could send you some files and we could compare notes.
Growing up in Michigan, I really didn't know John Michael very well. I do remember meeting Charlie once when Uncle Johnny and Aunt Marguerite brought him to visit us in Farmington. I think he was about 6 or 7 years old. I remember him wearing a Burger King crown and a kool-aid mustache!! I suppose he has changed a bit! Would be nice to meet him sometime.

I received this SAC yesterday. There is a tombstone photo posted for Maurice Kiley, born in 1919, died in 2000. According to this SAC, he would have been 112 years old when he died. So I'm hesitant about putting in the marriage date without documentation.

Find A Grave contributor Linda Mann has made a suggestion to you regarding your
Find A Grave memorial for Bertha Kiley.

Hello Linda,

I added the additional info for Bessie Lamb, and am going to transfer both over to you. If you look at my main page on this site, you will see that I have a virtual cemetery called "Cornish" - I photograph all Cornish surname tombstones that I come across. My 2nd great grandfather was Joseph Glasson Hampton from Uny Lelant - he lived in Cambria Co. Pa. I didn't have any Cornish in Akron myself, but my cousin married an Uren, whose grandfather, Frederick Uren was also from Lelant. I stumbled across Fred's grave last month while at Glendale - a lucky find. :)
