It did snow the day before...I think I cleared half of them with my mittens..My friend was the huge help after I picked her up..maps and puzzles are her specialty :)There were quite a few more there that people are looking for so my friend offered to help me on the weekends...

I noticed there was not a death plaque on the headstone? Was it maybe stolen or just not added? If you are interested I can ask the administration what the date is on their record.

Oh no problem! I was paying it forward...someone claimed my photo request in New Mexico! I went out by my own and dusted off half the headstones..I'm not good with the map I got! I went and got my friend to help me..she is good with maps! If you want the area map ..I have highlighted the plot on it.. I can scan it to you if to have an email you want to give me?

Glad i could help! It was super close to me to get to!

Cheryl :)

So glad to be able to help. Feeling a bit sad these days as buried my own mom last week. She was elderly but still quite with it and I went to see her every day for years. So a real void in my life.

RE: Christopher Brown

I will try to get out there this week before it snows. It's only about 10 miles from here.

RE: Whitings in Rich Valley
Hi Donna,

Unless I check each cemetery (about 250) that I have visited, for photo requests I do not know they are there as I do not get emails about requests close to home, but since some cemeteries I have photographed are many 100s of miles from home even that would not help me!:-))

So thank you for reading my bio and taking me at my word. I'm in the process of processing your requests.
Thanks for the compliment
It is folks like yourself who keep me doing what I do.

RE: Johnson family Oakhill Cemetery
You are very welcome Donna. It certainly was the perfect morning for cemetery photos... the clouds had serenely settled on the ground overnight making for a thick fog that was beginning to lift as I snapped the photo. The fog hides a busy street just a few feet further into the background... so it was welcomed.

Anderson's buried in St. Vital's Cemetery Winnipeg
Hello,
This evening while photographing some of your requests, there was another Anderson family buried very close to your "requests".
They are Duncan Anderson 1919-1989 & Mary Anderson 1919-1984. I took a picture of this marker as well, if you would like a copy. Let me know.

RE: Elizabeth Ellen Sharpin Eamer
Hi Donna, You are very welcome for the photo and transcription. I live quite close by.

Yes, I seen Ellen's parents listed on the OCFA and added memorials for them. Next time I'm over there I will get pics and fill in the blanks!

If Jacob Eamer died in Elgin, Manitoba in 1939, I'm surprised he would have been brought back here. I wonder if someone just assumes so because his name shows up on the OCFA. His name shows up because it is on Ellen's stone. But I will look into this too and let you know what I can find out. Lorna:)
