Lawrence Harlan
Yesterday, I found him. I have many pictures, with other headstones as references. Lawrence indeed, has no headstone. I have applauded the Merced District Cemetery Staff, they provided me with the references.

I'll be home by tonight, let me know if or how you'd like the pictures.

Glad to be able to help,

Ron.

RE: Henry Taylor Rhodig
No, I am not related to Mr. Rhodig. I knew both Mr. and Mrs. Rhodig from the Aurora Assembly of God Church. They were wonderful people and all of the children in the church called them Grandma and Grandpa Rhodig. I have been in their home many times on Alton Street for any number of events and enjoyed knowing both of them so much. If you are related, I would be more than happy to transfer the Memorial to you. Just let me know by using the Edit tab.

Dear Ed,

I have a couple pictures of Felix Wave Elder. One is very faded with his wife Helen and Nora. The other is a 3 x3 of Wave & Helen Elder in their 50s maybe. I will try to scan them and enhance them to load on here.

I would love to have pictures of Wave's dad. Mike (James M.), my husband, would enjoy having them.

Do you live in Owensboro too? We've been living in Owensboro, KY for ~19 years.

John Walker
Our Walkers might have a connection. My Mary E. Walker (1818-1894) m. Daniel F. Hayden (1814-1857) in Meade Co., Ky. in 1836. A John H. Taylor was her guardian. Some have Mary as the daughter of John H. Walker, Jr. and Sarah Tullis. It's certainly a possibilty as Daniel and Mary Hayden's 3rd and 4th children are Sally T. and John W.

RE: Emma Letitia Rice Wright
Ed,

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I apparently haven't done much genealogy research since January. Didn't think it had been that long, but time flies.

I have some information about some of the people in that photo, but some of it is unconfirmed. This is what I have.

This photo was taken at a Basham Family Reunion. The numbers are difficult to see on some individuals, but they are numbered as follows:
#1 is William Irvin Tall (Lucy's 2nd husband), #2 is Lucy Ann (Beavin) Rice Taul, #3 is Bishop Rice (Brother to Emma), #15, #16, and #17 are lucy's other children with her 1st husband (Samuel J. Rice). #20 is Emma Letitia Rice (1st wife of Lloyd Lee Wright). I believe #15 may be Thomas W. or William T. Rice (he is the one I am working on now). #17 and 18 I believe are Anna Louise Rice & Mary Lena Rice not maybe not in that order.

Hope this helps you.

You might also contact Rodie45@aol.com as he is researching this line.

RE: James Randal Elder
Unfortunately we thought we had the right picture. I even had it uploaded (this is why the request said fulfilled). While it appeared to be for James Randal Elder, the dates didn't quite match and I believe it to be the child of another Elder family. The marker was for a child, but didn't have the child's name. If you can, please request again. So Sorry!

There was no stone purchased according to the office. She's buried next to her daughter, Lena Mary Rice. I've included photos showing her location - let me know if you'd rather I delete them.

Susie was my Papaw, Earl Ahl's sister. I went to your family site today. You have a wonderful site there! I think maybe we are doing alot of the same research. My G G Grandfather was Gabe, a brother to your John Ahl. Small world?? I also tried to send you the DOD of your Aunt Marjorie Sixx, but don't know if I did it right so posted it on the memorial. I live in Perry County and know alot of your family. You may email me if you would like. ~ Christina
