Mary (Prickett) Wheelock gravestone photo
May I have your permission to download the photo of the gravestone of Mary (Prickett) Wheelock (Memorial# 72969638)?
I would like to upload it into my Ancestry family tree.
Thank you for your consideration.

RE: ELR Wheelock listed twice
Thank you for your response--I just wanted to be sure that my research was correct. I am doing a tree for his great, great, great granddaughter.

Just wanted to compliment you on the photos you post and especially that you include the captions.

I just was looking at the Caufields in Bethsalem Cemetery, Boligee, Greene county, AL...wonderful.

The Rev. Silas Dean Davenport
I will scan the image of him this week. You may want to go ahead and contact St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waco for permission if you might use it in a publication. I can't imagine the church not wanting to preserve this early photograph. The photo is in its cenetennial history by the late Luella Conger Boynton.
I believe his memorial window was in a previous edifice? The Churchman has been scannned. There is a lengthy description of the window. I used to live down the street from St. Matthew's Cathedral when I was in graduate school. I've admired the windows many times.

Old Waco
The Rev. Silas Dean Davenport

I saw your note about the Rev. Silas D. Davenport. I placed a memorial for his first wife yesterday. I asked the lady who has the memorial for his second wife to link her also as his spouse. On his memorial, they are not in correct order.

I have a copy of a history of St. Paul's Church which has a small photograph of him. Let me know if you wish me to scan it. If you wish to publish it, you would need to contact the church for permission, as you already know.

Also, I'm sure you have seen this:

On June 20, 1880, a memorial window over the Altar of St. Matthew's Cathedral in Dallas was unveiled and dedicated. At the bottom of this window was the following inscription, "Erected by the children of St. Matthew's Sunday-school, to the glory of God, and in memory of the Rev. Silas Dean Davenport, who entered rest January 1st, 1877."
This was found in the July 3, 1880 The Churchman.

The original msg I left only "asked" for U to check out her entry, no "demand". No disrespect ment, the entry U put in had one name, the tombstone had another. I've been doing this type of stuff since 1995, just trying to get the info correct in case someone might be searching for her, that's all that was intended to be, a request.
We crossed wires, my fault entirely because my intent was not very clear on the first msg.
I thought that family might have been related to you and if U had one name in your records, I thought I should let U know it was different at the cemetery.
Rest assured if I run across a conflict of info again and the memorial belongs to U then I will not contact and upset U again.
I'm gone, James Coston

Yes,I believe he is in Austin also. I think the family put a memorial at Riverside to have a lasting memory and both husband and wife.

Albert Berry, Mexia Cem.
Evening, I was taking fotos over at Mexia and came across Albert Berry. When I checked on findagrave I found a spouse buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Corsicana, Tx. Buried beside him was Janie Read Berry and given the birthdates and location to each other, my assumption is another wife. I put her in findagrave as such but since U have taken control of his memorial, I thought I should contact ya and see if U are family, and if so, do U have any input on Janie. If I entered her correctly then all is good, if not, I need to correct the linkage.
Thanks, James Coston

RE: Thank you!
You are so welcome!

I wasn't intending to make rainbow colors, I was just to give the inscriptions the clearest view. Still, a rainbow effect is rather nice.

I did not know she was a twin. Has anyone found Alsina's gravesite or created a memorial? If a memorial exists, I can create a link on Elmina's memorial.

I have added "Mar 5" to her birth date :)

Jeremiah Hutchinson and wives
Wow, I never expected to ever have this one fulfilled! If I remember correctly, someone else went looking for his stone and found nothing. It looks like a very, very new stone!

I have submitted a photo request for wife Mary "Polly" Hutchinson.

Thank you for finding this family's monument and taking the picture.
