Joseph Darling & Huldah Darling
I have several names in my tree that match the names on the Find a grave site for Joseph and Huldah. Darling and Hatch along with some of those in the Virtual Cemeteries listed and they are Howland/Tilley, Rogers.

I have been searching for my third great grandfather, Alpheus Darling's ancestors (born abt 1790 in Canada) but have had little luck. I have notes from my Uncle Thorwell Darling saying he was married first to Ellen Palen and lived in Ohio. Ellen died in 1825 after giving birth to three sons, John Palen Darling, Ezekiel P. Darling, and Alpheus Jr. My great grandmother was Lenora Darling nee Hatch and she married Alexander Young and they had 17 children. The Young and Baird (also related) were pioneers in the Port Huron Marine City area. Anyone shed some light on my third great grandfather's ancestors.

RE: Taylor family
How far back does your Taylor tree go? I am stuck at James F Taylor born in 1820.

Hello 3rd cousin! Thanks for the explanation. Can you also update her middle name from Homes to Holmes? I was wondering why many of the siblings have Holmes as a middle name? (Ethel, Eugenia, Florence) Do you know? I thought Eastlick might have been their step-father. I'm not documenting them since they are not blood relatives, but I was just curious.

Yes, she's in the same location as her mother but, unfortunately, has no marker.

I'm always happy to add links and additional information to memorials I have created. Just send them along.

Great-aunts are not required transfers.

I looked at you list of memorials, I recognized two names I've seen in my family tree took Darling and Cornawall.

I have her parents listed as:
Rodger Chandler
Isabella CHILTON Chandler

Isabella CHILTON Chandler's parents

Have you seen that as being Sarah's family?

Donna King Harmon
Callie J Brooks
I'm not sure who to contact on this. I hope you can help. Ida Mayes Brooks was my Great Aunt who lived with my family (Jack & vivian Howard King) until her death. I noticed that Callie Brooks is shown as a daughter of Marion and Ida Brooks. This is incorrect.. Ida had no daughters. I have talked with the city of Dustin and was advised that the cemetery plot for Callie was paid for by Mrs. M. E. Brooks. I respectfully ask for this to be corrected. Please contact me if you need more documentation

RE: Sarah Chandler Simmons
Thank you. It was placed there to correct the info for others. Sometimes memorial owners are no longer active and the info doesn't get added. Others have done this to my memorials as well. I will delete it. Thanks again.

Your Aunt & Uncle
You are very welcome. Mission Cemetery is well maintained and people are very active in it. The first thing I noticed when walking up to your aunt & uncle's site was that the area was sunny and full of flowers. Let me know if you need anything else, Dottie

transfer of management
I posted Eva G Nelson because I had the picture, having taken shots of the entire wall where my in-laws are interred. I have no other connection to her. Am glad you contacted me. I notice you have listed the name Soule - Mayflower. George Soule is one of my direct ancestors also. Small world, cousin. . . Ruth C.

Sharon Kisor
Moses Simmons b. 1604
Moses did marry a Sarah, but not Sarah Chandler, daughter of Roger Chandler. That Sarah did marry Solomon Leonard about 1640. The Sarah that married Moses Simmons, about 1632, is mentioned in a court document dated June 3, 1673 as the wife of Moses. Also this Sarah died several years prior to her husband Moses.

Darling Memorials
In addition to Benjamin and Hannah Darling, I also transferred Daniel and Polly Darling to you - I'm sure they must be related somehow.

I discovered ancestors in this cemetery and when i realized it was not in Find A Grave I transcribed all burials that I found, so the Darlings are not related to me.

Please look at my "Find A Grave Friends" and look for Chip5610 - he is responsible for the photos here and helped me with tombstone transcriptions etc. He lives close by and has a passion for this cemetery. He could help you by letting you know the proximity of the graves to one another - who knows, you may discover others!

Best of luck in your search! This is a great site, and very addicting!
