Servatius Fischer
Hello Susanne, I see you recently posted a photo to the memorial of Servatius Fischer, Memorial# 160997539. I read your caption on the photo, which mentions that "there is no stone marking the grave of Servatius Fischer, only Joseph and May", does this mean that Servatius is at rest beside Joseph and May ? I am puzzled why you posted the photo to the memorial of Servatius ? There is a stone in the photo, but it is at a Distance, flush with the ground and unreadable, as the photo of it was taken. Have you posted the photo to a memorial for Joseph Fischer and May Fischer?

Thank you Susanne for taking the time to try and photograph Edward's headstone. I appreciate you downloading the photo of the area where the headstone would have been placed. Please know your efforts on my behalf were greatly appreciated.

Joseph Edward Merle
John Jobst
Hello Susanne:

Thank you for your nearly immediate response to my request for a photo of the headstone of John Jobst. I see that you took 2 photos of the site. I assume that the top photo is the general site with the headstone on the right being that of John and Theresa. That being the case, I am curious as to who stones are those on the left. Did you happen to observe them and might they also be members of the Jobst family? There appears to be many Jobst's interred at St. Boniface and l am wondering if John's father, Simon may be nearby. Do you recall the plot location for John and Theresa?

Thank you again. I surely apprciate your effort to help.

RE: Doran at Cavalry
Thank you so much I'd love the photos. He was in charge of the Irish brigade in WI so it's sort of a labor of love, I'm doing all of their genealogies. I appreciate it!!

Mary Redden
Hello I see you fulfilled a photo request for Mary Redden, however, I do not see the graves with her name on them. Are there names visible on the stones?

RE: Bouchanville
I called the office and asked them to email me the list of Bouchonvilles buried at Calvary. I just received it and there were only 7 names. I asked him to check under a different spelling like Bushonville but he said there were no others. I'm curious now about the "more than 20" Bouchonvilles you saw. Were they all buried together or at different locations? I don't know how to proceed from here to find the rest of them. Any ideas? Thanks for your help. Diane

RE: Bouchanville
The next time you go to Calvary would you mind asking the office if there are any more Bouchonvilles buried besides the four you found? Theodore had several children who lived and died in the area and I haven't been able to find out where they are buried. Thanks again. Diane

RE: Bouchanville
Thank you so very much for finding my 2X great grand uncle, Joseph Bouchonville. The other two people on the stone are his son, Louis Joseph Bouchonville and Louis's wife Eva. I created memorials for both of them and requested photos. That was so sweet of you to follow through with me on the two extra names. Diane

John Keating
I just read your message under the photo.
How do you know it's his stone, if his name isn't on it? Did you get the plot from the cemetery office?

Patrick Garrett
Dear Susanne

Thank you so much for taking the time to look for Patrick Garrett's grave. I'm a little disappointed that there is no stone, but the vicinity of the grave is important all the same.

Thanks very much for taking the time to photograph Nicholas' gravesite. Too bad there was no stone.
This is a very nice community service that you are doing. I don't think that I would ever have the opportunity to take the photo myself.
Thanks again, Steve Barneby

Leonard J. Lorimer
Hello, Susanne, thanks so much for the photo for Mr. Lorimer, sorry to see there were no markers. I would like to create a memorial for his wife, but can't find her DOD anywhere. Is there any chance you made a note of it?
Thanks for taking the time to look up the burial, find the location, and document it. Your efforts are much appreciated.

RE: Antony Keating
Hi, Suzanne,
You are very kind and helpful.
I don't remember for sure, but I confess that I think I created the memorial just assuming that the was buried where his brother was. I didn't really have information that he was buried in that cemetery. I should not have done that.
When you told me that the cemetery has no record of him, I took the memorial down.
The problem with the Keating name is that there are many variations. In the earlier censuses in the 1800's, it's very ofen spelled Katon or Caton. Later it becomes Keating or sometimes Keaton.
So, don't worry about it. I really appreciate your efforts to help with this, but right now it's not important enough for you to make a large effort. I need to find out more about Antony, and then I will call the cemeteries to find out where he was buried.
Again, thank you very much for your efforts. I really appreciate it.

His military marker was ordered on July 15, 1949 so I am positive that that is the correct person.
