RE: Vickery
No problem - I have linked them. Do you know the maiden name of Phebe? Is she a Vickery?

Sent a message to the lady who created the memorials. She is very prompt with requests so it should be taken care of quickly.

We did an extensive clean-up and repair of stones in that cemetery last year. I had a photo of that stone in my files.
Glad I could help with your search.

Re: Harry Andrews
Bryan, I am curious to know where you got the picture of my grandfather....I don't think I have ever seen this one.

RE: Andrew Freeland
I cannot say whether there is anything on the other side, but I normally look on both sides when I photograph a cemetery. Rosedale is a very big cemetery and without a location, I would not be able to revisit and find this particular stone.

RE: Mary Elizabeth Jackson

It was my pleasure Bryan. If I can help with any others, just let me know or post your request.

The Old Quinn Burying Ground was a very old cemetery and was extremely interesting.

Good Luck with your genealogy, it's a ton of fun.

Elvira Kicklighter Smoak at St. George Cem.
Thank you so very much for the wonderful photos of her grave and also the stone at her feet that is in memory of the husband, James D. Smoak. I really appreciate your efforts for those of us who live very far away.

A N Hamby
What cemetery is A N Hamby located?

RE: Francis Marion Johnson
Yes, I think they were quite close together. I photograped about five Johnson markers that were very similar in design and in a row. I think Nancy's was already on findagrave, so I didn't post her. I posted Aubrey and Francis. I'm about to post William. Don't exactly remember the order, but I think Francis and William were toward the end of the row. That edge of the cemetery was very overgrown and someone had just cleaned away a lot of vines and brush to reveal some markers that had been pretty much hidden.

I'll try to go by there again soon and shoot the row for you so you will have the correct order of the markers.

RE: Phebe Capwell Andrews
Hey Bryan,

We're definitely related though my information differs from yours slightly, I have an extra generation or two in my research for your line.
Here is my line from Burton Sweet Andrews and Phebe (Capwell) Andrews they were my great-great grandparents: son, Adelbert Bradford Andrews married Jessie Sanford Kellie, Adelbert Bradford Andrews (jr) married Lorene Hildred Grove, Robert Warren Andrews (my father) married Betty Jeanne Cook, I'm Nathan Bruce Andrews.
Here's what I show on your line: Burton and Phebe, Walter Jenkes Andrews (my great grandfathers younger brother) married Alice Elvira Hamby, Nellie Agnes Andrews married Alonzo Hoover Smith, that's as far as I go down to you. I have dates, etc and all the siblings, am also in touch with a group of cousins through another brother, they are Andrews also.
I have a copy of a letter that my great-grandmother wrote to a Smith relative in Florida right after WWII.
If you could verify your info., I'm positive Nellie Agnes was a granddaughter or Burton and Phebe, not a daughter.
I have tons of info on Burton and Phebe's ancestors, all branches.

Write to me in my e-mail if you prefer,

I'm guessing we are 3rd cousins, maybe once removed. I may have one less generation as my great-grandfather was 30 years older than my great-grandmother and had children into his 80s

Bernie Myers
RE: Infant Crumly
I'll call the administrator of the cemetery. It was attached to Crumly Methodist but just went independent and record keeping is questionable if they still have it.

RE: Margaret Waldrop
You're very welcome. Sometimes when the sun is just not being helpful or the size constraints at findagrave for posting, it is tricky to get that we like.
