Jennifer Day
Perry and wife Emily Hellums
I have been looking for these two at the cemetery. The funeral home doesn't have a listing for them BUT they said they had a fire sometime way back. The only Hellums I found was Winnie A. Hellums Hayek b. Aug 1, 1916 d. July 8, 1951. Would she be related by any chance? I found 2 5x5 markers that just have Hellums on them. One is next to Winnie and the other is about 10 feet away on the same row. I don't know if these are reserved for the future or if some gravestones are missing. I will keep searching. Thanks.

Your very welcome. I do not known how to change the spelling. If you want, contact find a grave as see if they will change the spelling. Once the cemetery is in they are the ones who must change it. I am sorry I did that.

The missing image would appear to be a death certificate. Do you want that reloaded? John

I do keep copies of all my photo's in the original format 3meg. size. I also live very close to the Gladewater Memorial Park. I'll send a good copy to you directly and see if I can get another photo on the memorial.

William & Mary Helms photo request
Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so.Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request.

The number is 214 371 1336
or to email them, the link is:

They are good about responding to the email request! There are over 134 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help. : )

Jessie Helums photo request
Grove Hill Cemetery does not provide Findagrave volunteers burial locations to fill requests.

Please contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial location for your request: 214-381-7118

There are over 178 photo requests at this cemetery because the office will not provide the volunteers with locations but will provide a location to a family member if you call and ask for it.

Follow up
Thanks for updating me on my Sarah Jones' memorial request. Interesting that the cemetery records have no documentation of her being buried in Montrose. Perhaps the records are incomplete due to the timeframe and the flue epidemic. Helen

J. Cooper
Hi - I just saw your post to James Stewart about Renee Shoup. Through Find A Grave a man in PA found my memorial page on the Shoup family. If you would like to be put in touch with him let me know, you two may be related.

RE: Ladufsia Bullock - Oak Grove Cemetery
It was my pleasure! My best guess is that they were the original markers for the graves. Like many of the surrounding graves, it seems that the words have been weathered away. I think the markers that have visible words were added after the weathering had taken place.

RE: Ladufsia Pound Bullock - Oak Grove Cemetery
You had requested two different photos of this person. As for your wanting a photo, I suggest you hire someone or it may be a long wait. In the meantime, you can go in your area and add to those 79 photos that you have made for there may be some people in your area that think the deserve a photo of their relatives. I can assure you, time will go faster. Folks her have not payment not gas reimbursement, so I suggest you grow patience.

Dan Ryan
Noble Ireland
There is no headstone for Noble so I checked with the cemetery office & as per there records he was buried 2 graves to the right of his son Frank.
If you want either photo deleted let me know.

I just wanted to tell you how very grateful I am for the wonderful image of Stephen Wiles' headstone that you posted! And I love your bio posted here on Find.a.Grave, it sounds like you have a lot of enthusiasm for the generous work that you do for others. And to hear that your dog loves to join you on your Graveyarding adventures is just precious! Warmly, Helen Murphy, Nashville, TN

RE: Harriet Burgess(1852 - 1925)
Thanks for your efforts.
I'm looking under every "rock" to locate our g-g-grandmother, and we hoped this might give us a clue. As you suggest, I'll query the record creator.

RE: Jane Palmer Davis - Montrose Cemeter
That would be awsome. I am also looking for John Davis and Hiram Davis. Late 1700-mid 1800. I live in Florida, so it's difficult sometimes. Montrose Historical Museum has been an awsome help. Thanks again!
