RE: Nancy Gebhart
Teresa,
Please contact me through my email address:rcsollars@comcast.net. I have Nancy Gebhart b.Mar 1860 Georgetown Twp., Vermilion Co., IL, the daughter of Emanuel & Nancy Ann Goodner Gebhart. Emanuel (1810-1869) was an elder brother of our Nancy Gebhart (1812-1869) 1st wife of Truman R. Sollars (1812-1898) my gr-grandfather. Nancy Ann Goodner was Emanuel's 2nd wife. They had 10 children. His 1st wife was Mary Jane Allen (812-1838) by whom 6 children were born. Nancy Gebhart's sister Hannah Gebhart (1847-1922) married James "Morris" Maurice Sollars (1845-1930)my grandfather Azariah Sollars' 1st cousin. Sorry for the delay in my reply. Robert C. Sollars

Please turn off your caps lock
Please don't use all capital letters when adding memorials and/or obits. It's the computer equivalent of SHOUTING or SCREAMING and makes a very ugly memorial that's very hard on the eyes which is the primary reason why books and newspapers aren't printed in all capital letters. Thanks.

RE: Nancy Gebhart
Nancy Gebhart Sollars (1812-1869) was the first wife of my my great-grandfather, Truman R. Sollars (1812-1898). They has 12 children but I have only been able to locate 10 of them, and of that 10 only 4 sons reached adulthood, Edward, Emanuel "Sandy", Truman A., and Levi Alonzo Sollars. He married 2nd to Susan Conrad (1843-1884) by whom 4 children were born, Dona (Donie), Maud, Azariah and John Sollars. Azariah was my grandfather.
As for other Nancy Gebharts, I have several in the family. Do you have any dates and places for the one you are interested in? I have two that I have no marriage for, one may be your lady. I await the courtesy of your reply. Bob Sollars.

RE: Alice Mitchell Richardson
Thanks for the information. I do alot of research on my mom's side of the family and when I found out the ties to the Richardson family I was really shocked. I knew George and Pat and grew up with their kids. Pat even took us to Anderson, Indiana one time to see our preacher who transferred there after he was the pastor at the Church of God in Cayuga. My brothers and I grew up with Ed, Tom and Warren. Dad and his brothers knew George. But George's mother Alice is a distant cousin. My grandmother was an Adams and the Adams of Parke County, Indiana were related to the Mitchells. I have found generations buried at Adams cemetery in Jessup, Parke, Indiana. Alice Marie Mitchell Richardson has a little sister buried at the Adams family cemetery in Jessup. Wow, I wish I knew this while Pat and George was still alive. I am glad for your photos, I always wanted some photos of them as I remember them growing up. Thanks for the information, I will get the pictures of the gravestones and add them to my family tree. Yes, I have added them all. If you send me your regular email when your computer is running again I will send you an invite on Ancestry.com to look at it and you can see the connection.

Hiram and Sarah Bostwick
Hiram Bostwick may be buried in an unmarked grave in Butternut Cemetery in Clark Co., IL near Marshall with some of his children. It was said that he drowned on the Wabash so his body may have been recovered or not. In 1840 they were living in Fayette Twp., Vigo Co., Indiana and moved to Clark Co., IL by 1846 when he died.

Sarah Willison married twice more to Daniel Mossbarger, 20 April 1859 in Vermilion Co., IL. He died Nov. 1865. She then married Robert Garrett, 23 April 1871 in Vermilion Co., IL. Robert died 14 Mar. 1871 Vermilion Co., IL In 1870 he was living in Georgetown. In 1870 Sarah was living with her son Hiram Damon Bostwick in Georgetown. I think Sarah was buried in Georgetown or one of the cemeteries around Georgetown. I haven't found where she is buried. I know she died between 1871-1875.

Rosella Melvina Bostwick
Rosella Melvina Bostwick is buried near Jenkins Ford in Ridge Farm. That's where she was living (in Ridge Farm) when she died. Do you have an e-mail? e-mail me at hckschicks@aol.com. I will send the obit.

Hiram Damon Bostwick is believed to have drowned in the Wabash. If he is buried somewhere, it would be Butternut Cemetery in Clark Co., IL where a lot of his children are buried.

Sarah Willison Bostwick Mossbarger Garrett is buried somewhere in and around Georgetown. Don't know where.

Dear Teresa,

Thank you for your condolences for our Son, William. It means so much to us to see all of the love and support shown to William here on this wonderful site.

Thank you for your lovely message. We were happy and proud to sponsor Bobby's Memorial Page. He was always so nice to everyone.

I'm happy to hear that Marilyn is well and as busy as ever - at the age of 80. She was always sewing and making candy when we were growing up. Her Popcorn Balls were legendary in our neighborhood, especially at Halloween. Would you believe, I still have the typed recipe card Marilyn gave me from her own recipe file - for "Never Fail Popcorn Balls"! I am looking at it right now. I've kept it all these years.

Should you speak to Marilyn, please give her my regards. I'm sure she'll remember me. I use to take my children to her house on Halloween. Does she still live on Bismark St.?

Thank you again, Teresa.
Jennifer
