May Delle Cable Buss
Greetings Rememberance. I have just acquired an oil painting done by this May Delle Cable in 1930 when she was 20 yrs old. On the back is written: This picture was painted by Sue Tanner Mother May Delle Buss. If anything happens to me return to Sue or her daughter Tami Anderson. by George E Myers Sept. 3, 1980. My Ancestry research shows only one daughter who was born and died in 1944. Would you have any connection where I might return this painting to the rightful owner? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Elizabeth Glover photo
Dear Elizabeth:

You are very welcome. The other side of Elizabeth's stone was for a Joel Mulhollen. I took a picture of that and posted it also. He had already been listed under the name of Manhole. I put in a correction for that and posted the picture of the marker. The name has not yet been changed but the picture is there. You might want to visit it and see if he may have been her first husband. The name was clearly Mulhollen so I believe that the first entry was just a typo.

Glad I was able to help.

You are welcome. I hope the inscription was clear enough to confirm the surname spelling.--Storres

Information for Somers's memorial, too
Dear Alan: I will gather up and edit the somewhat matching information for Somers and send it to you in the form of an Edit, using the tab on his memorial. It might take me a few days though. Kind regards, Bridey

RE: Martha Silkett + Somers Silkett
Dear remembering: I went to visit Somers today and now need to edit the photographs I took and upload them, which might take a day or two. At that time, I will also send you an edit for the plot location and GPS coordinates for Somers. According to Charles, the administrator for Greenwood Cemetery, Martha is not interred at Greenwood (which I find very odd). Somers's grave marker appears to be homemade and is made of concrete with pebbles mixed in -- it is difficult to read, but I bracketed my exposures and took several photographs so I think I will have at least one good one of his grave marker, along with a nice lot shot. If you would like, I will email you the photographs; RSVP on that please. You can securely place your email address using the Edit tab on Martha's memorial so that I can email you the photos if you wish. Martha's final resting place is a mystery, as well as why they were in Blue Lake. I need to go back and read my own research on their daughter Carrie's married surname, as to whether I found it.
If you wish to check for Martha further, there is a small cemetery in Blue Lake (Blue Lake Cemetery) and it is administrated by the administrator for the three largest cemeteries in Eureka, California. His name is Don McComb and he runs the office at Ocean View Cemetery in Eureka (707) 445 - 3188. Being a family member and in calling Don, he might be able to provide you with information regarding Martha even perhaps being interred in Eureka at Ocean View Cemetery, Sunset Memorial Park, or Saint Bernard's Catholic Cemetery. Another possibility is that Martha was interred in Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery (Arcata, CA), which shares a lot line with Greenwood. Those are the five most likely places where Martha might be resting. More soon! Kind regards, Bridey Light

Martha Silkett
Dear remembering: I have a request in for location for Sommers and Martha Silkett/Silket. In the meantime, I have created a memorial for Martha, since I am fairly certain she is interred beside Sommers. They were together in the 1920 Census for Eureka, Humboldt County, California, living in the household of their married daughter, Grace De Hass. Have located quite a few records and posted same to Martha's memorial. I also have similar items for Sommers if you would like me to send them to you via the Edit link on Sommerses memorial. RSVP on that please. After taking photographs of grave markers, lot shots and obtaining GPS coordinates, I will transfer Martha over to you for care in your loving family hands. Kind regards, Bridey Light

Thank you, thank you.
I wasn't sure if there would be a stone, given the
year that he passed.
Best Wishes
