Hi. I will try to work on this when things slow down a bit. We are working on moving in the next few weeks and making our home ready to put on the market. Please send any info you have and sources, so I can compare to what I have. Blessings!

RE: JOHN W JONES
Hello! Thanks for contacting me. I need the memorial number for the John W Jones that you are referring to; the one that I have listed in my family tree does not have parents attached, yet, so I am a little lost. Thanks. Perhaps we can get to the bottom of this together!

Mahala Maze Swing
Mahala married Benjamin Swing on August 21, 1864 in Tipton County. You stated that she died in Kansas. Did they move there after their marriage?
Thanks, Catie and Will

Alma Hames
Alma did die 8/9/2007 in N.C. I have added her to the cemetery and linked her to Archie. You may research with the cemetery or find her obit and verify it. I don't do research for others, and I don't live in Lexington anymore.

RE: Archie Lee Hames
The only Archie Lee Hames I can find listed is in Oregon and I didn't do that cemetery. It's better to send a message from EDIT on the memorial page with questions. That way I can see what you are talking about. Thanks, kathy

RE: BONAVENTURE and GREENWICH CEMETERIES
Thanks. Good hit. My memorial was actually a duplicate and I have deleted it. She, her husband, daughter, and son-in-law are all over at the other cemetery. Here is the story from find a grave:
"Greenwich is a separate cemetery but the records are in Bonaventure. Administratively, Greenwich is a section of Bonaventure. Physically it is located outside of and down the road (in its own separate gated property) from Bonaventure. Greenwich has been operating only since the early 1930s. "

Thanks again.

BTW, are you and my wife related?. Amanda is my wife's 3rd cousin, 3 times removed.

Dick Gates, b. 1937

RE: WILLIAM CURTIS BURKHART
Draper was a small town in the 30's, probably less than two thousand. There is only one cemetery in the town and that is Danview. None of the churches there have graveyards either.

RE: James Franklin Tysinger
Hi Janis, if I have parents listed, someone sent me the links. This is not my family. If you can find proof to send of his parents names and birthdates, I will be happy to post your corrected info. Please use the 'edit' tab on the memorial you wish changed.

RE: Wayne Edwin and Sarah Mae Beck
Hi Janis, if I were you, I would right click on the photos and save them to your computer. Then you can go to Ancestry and add them there. That is how I do it. Thank you for your message and it is very nice to meet you.

Sincerely, Vickie

RE: Walter Durant Ritchie
Janis,

I would love to help you with the Ritchie son, but don't know that I can. Rowan Memorial Park is a huge cemetery and the office staff is not forthcoming with locations of graves nor if the person is even buried there. The entries I have posted there are from visits to various sections and photographing a section at a time. If you would like to try to contact the office and request a location, I'll be glad to photograph it for you, but a search without any additional information is formidable.

I'm so sorry. I wish I could find the younger Mr. Ritchie for you. Thank you for your inquiry.

All the best,
Beverly Poole

RE: EVERETT E DOAK
This happened on another memorial I had - same two cemeteries. I asked the photographer of the headstones which cemetery he took the photos in and he responded that the cemetery is known as "Rose Hill" now but was called "Odd Fellows" at the time they were buried.

There may be many other duplicates because of this confusion of the two names.
