Hope all is well. You can ignore all the additional info for Bios that I have been sending. I am adding them under photos. I know I sent a lot so you can just delete them. I appreciate all you have done.
Thanks a million and thanks for all your work. I have been sending info via the Edits Tab on many and those of course will have to be accepted by you. Bring on sweater weather..please!

RE: Carroll Horton Blalock
Re: Carroll Stapler Blalock and wife Clara Horton.

If you need further proof, check the 1935 Florida Census for Madison County, Florida. It lists Carroll Blalock, wife Clara, sons Carroll,Jr,; Clarence and daughter Irene.

RE: Carroll Horton Blalock
Carroll Stapler Blalock is the husband of Clara Horton. The maiden name Horton should be removed from the memorial to clear up the confusion. The Masonic symbol on the headstone also signifies that Carroll is a male. Carroll S. Blalock’s father is Dr. Alonzo Lashbrook Blalock, Find A Grave 85650770; his mother is Emma Aline Jelks Find A Grave 85650799.
Clara Horton is reportedly buried in Oakridge Cemetery, Madison, Florida but no memorial is listed. Her parents are William Lowery Horton, Find A Grave 81680019. His obituary is posted on the memorial and shows his daughters as Mrs. Carroll S. Blalock (which indicates she is married to Carroll S. Blalock), and Misses Irene and Evelyn Horton.
Her mother is Vannie Glass Horton, Find A Grave 81680057.
Hope this clears this up and the edits will be processed.

Hi Gwen, Hope you are having a wonderful family time. All these I am sending can be done at your leisure. I know you will take care of them in your free time. What I have done is created a file in my gmail acct and named it Find A Grave. I move all Find A Grave correspondence into it and work from there. That way my regular email acct is not full of Find A Grave items. You might already have a great system, just thought I would share. If it takes you months to get to them, no worries.

Hi, Thanks for all your help. I will be sending more if you do not mind. You have done a lot of work in this area of FL and thank you for all you have done.

RE: April Millsap
Hi again,

Yes, you're absolutely right! I've always taught my boys to "treat others how you would to be treated." I love this site, it's a wonderful thing, and to be honest, I've never been in contact with anyone rude or mean, but then again, I don't get too involved,if you know what I mean. If someone is kind enough to fulfill a photo request for me, I always ask if I can use their photo on There hasn't been one that have said no.

You did have a bit more info on April, perhaps you could ask the other member to edit her memorial and add her middle name. She was also cremated.

Thank you, again! :)

RE: April Millsap

Thank you so much for not being upset or angry! I was debating on whether or not to say anything just because I read so many negative things about other members on Facebook pages like findagrave Volunteers. I just thought you should know- thank you for dingos nice and understanding! I'm sure they will transfer your sponsorship!

April Millsap

I wanted to let you know someone had already made a memorial for April on July 25.

It's totally up to you what you choose to do, I just thought I would let you know.

RE: Cemetery pictures
Please provide the location of the cemetery. Road name and nearest house address should be enough.

Thank you
Thank you for your support in standing up to the self-appointed Find A Grave bullies. Thank goodness they are relatively few in number. Perhaps, in time, the latest ones will go the way of the earlier ones and give up on their bossiness and desire to control others who are here simply to honor those who have gone before. We all know the importance of guidelines and rules that support order. But we are also, from our grammar school years, all too familiar with folk who "boss" just to be bossy. Too bad they didn't manage to outgrow it. I suppose eventually they will realize that some of us have moved past the fourth grade and they will have to find someone more naive to pester.

I sent you an edit on this memorial in early February but no action was taken.

You made 2 memorials on the same day for this man. The original is 87498340 and the duplicae is 87498418.

Could you please delete the latter one per Find A Grave guidelines. Thank you.

I was just thinking about you the other day & was going to send you an email :) things are good & I hope they are great for you also! I have not been able to get back to the cemetery because Clara & Joe moved to Oklahoma. They said we could go up any time, but I don't know if the house has sold so I have been a little apprehensive about popping up if there are new owners haha! I did get in touch with another Cooper & she has sent me a few things. If you'd like to email me your address I would gladly mail copies :)

Talk to you soon

ty :)
ty for leaving my sister a message on her Find a Grave page. It's March, my favorite time of the year (sarcasm). It's been 26 years, & I'm starting to release some of that grief I had stuck deep down all these years. I was 14 when she died, not a good age to lose a 10 yr old sister. 14...13...the teens themselves are important years...coming of age. Her death interrupted all that. I had other things to deal with too. My disability, & dealing with living with it, mix that in with the death of a sister & it'd get ya messed up. I didn't drink, no drugs, didn't go insane...just walked a long & lonely road for a long long time. My parents made a DVD out of their ooooold 8mm film...some of it had Jennifer in it, from age 2-6, I look at them a lot. No sound, but still it's nice to have video of Jennifer smiling & being Jennifer. It helps. Hope you all are doing fine.

I sent you an edit re this memorial previously. Perhaps you overlooked it. You inadverently made 2 memorials for this man on the same day, #87498418 and 87498340. Could you delete the latest one per Find A Grave guidelines. Thank you so much.

RE: Ethelle Jones
I'm sorry I couldn't provide a death date and connection for the baby's father but do know that the marriage was 21 Jun 1938, Nassau Co., Florida. You're welcome to what I have but it certainly does not compare to your contributions.
